I practically kicked the basement door open, effectively hitting Clayton in the shoulder with it before I stormed out.

He opened his mouth to say something, but apparently decided against it.

Which was single-handedly the smartest thing that man has ever done.

I wasn't in the mood for his shit.

Something about Leo just pissed me off.

Scratch that, everything.

Everything about that boy pissed me off.

I'm just glad that I succeeded in keeping my cool while talking to him.

But making me blush, not okay.

Successfully catching me off guard, not okay.

Making a stupid deal with me, absolutely not okay.

And I just had to go along with it.

What was I thinking?

More importantly, what was he thinking?

This guy has to be crazy right?

I let out a harsh sigh as I grabbed the last remaining slice of cheese pizza from the box, and stormed over into the living room.

Everyone just stayed silent as I did, knowing that I was already in a bad mood.

I walked over to Dante's couch, watching as he moved his legs off of it so I could sit down beside him.

He was probably the only one that wouldn't make me completely snap.

I brought my knees up to my chest, taking my first bite of the still partially warm pizza as I glared through Clayton at the basement door.

I think we need to be able to lock the door from the outside.

"Didn't go well?" Dante asked.

I huffed, eyes flickering from the door to Dante.

"He's a dick" is all I responded.

Dante let out a small laugh.

"Yea we all figured that much out pretty much the first time we laid eyes on the guy, "He paused for a moment, his laughter returning. "You should have seen the look on his face once we all started running towards him." He said.

I rose a brow.

"What? You mean he wasn't just smirking the whole time?" I asked semi-sarcastically.

I'd be surprised to see any other look on his face for more than three seconds.

"Well he was at first," Dylan spoke up a smile slowly building on his face. "Until Spencer got ahold of him."

They all let out a couple laughs as they recalled it. Spencer just rolled his eyes.

"Yeah! He went from 'g'day fellas' to 'Oh shit' in the span of half a second." Added Ashton.

I couldn't help but let out a small laugh at that mental image.

What I wouldn't give to see that look on his face.

"He even tried to get up and run until Spence took out his knees from behind and made him crash into the fence," Collin told.

Oh, how these boys admired Spencer.

And oh how I was enjoying this conversation.

I took another bite from the pizza as I listened, wishing more and more that I was there when this whole thing took place.

"I thought Spencer was gonna break his arm if he didn't stop squirming," Tanner spoke.

All eyes turned to Spencer like we were all asking the same question.

He just glanced at us for a moment before looking back out the window.

"I thought about it." He finally said.

I crossed my legs, adding in my own laugh to the rest of the guy's.

"You should've," I said, taking another bite.

A guy trapped in handcuffs and having a broken arm? Yea there's absolutely no possible way that he could get out of that situation.

"We still can," Dante suggested.

A wry smile peaked on my lips.

"Maybe," I began, "let's just see how long he can go without pissing me off again."

Obviously, if anyone's going to be breaking this guy's arm it's going to be me.

"Aye! There's the Lexi smile that we were missin'. " Tanner cheered, causing the other boys to look at me, "I thought that one was gone forever."

Of course, they would keep track of something like that.

I just sarcastically rolled my eyes.

"You can blame Leo for that one," I remarked, pointing to the door with my pizza crust.

"Yeah, we can deal with that later. Maybe Spencer could scare him enough to make him scream." Dante offered.

I couldn't help but laugh with the others.

I'm pretty sure I even saw a tiny smirk rise on Spencer for just a brief moment.

In all honesty, I would love that.

"Guys, should you really be joking about this?" Clayton asked, cutting our laughter short.

Again he made himself sound like he was in charge like he always did whenever Tyler was out of the house.

We all just looked at him questioningly.

Honestly, if anyone was in charge when Ty wasn't here, it would either be me or Spencer.

Then, Tanner asked the question we were all thinking.

"Why you gotta ruin our fun dude?"

Clayton scoffed.

"We have a guy in our basement form one of our top rivals and you guys just joke about it?! This is serious!"

"The hell are you even worried about?" Dylan asked, "We're the minors what's he gonna find here that's gonna put our higher-ups in any real danger?"

"We've got nothin good here anyways. And I'm sure the bosses men can handle this if things get out of hand." Collin added to his brother's words, "He's one guy, Clayton. Lighten up."

Clayton's eyes narrowed as he leaned back against the door, shaking his head.

"You guys are ridiculous."

I rolled my eyes.

Sure, they're ridiculous, but at least they're not boring.
