"Happy forty-seventh anniversary, Mom and Dad!" I kissed my mother's cheeks as well as my father's as soon as I greeted them. They both embraced me tight.

"We thought you couldn't come! Mabuti na lang at nakarating ka, oh siya, kumusta ang biyahe?" My dad made me sit on his lap---which he loves to do when I was still a kid.

"I won't miss this in the world! This is a milestone of your relationship po, bakit naman ako hindi pupunta?" Mom lovingly smiled at me. "Okay naman po ang biyahe, hindi naman ako napagod."

Nagpatuloy pa ang pagkakamustahan namin na para bang hindi kami nagkita-kita last month. One thing I love about my parents is that they talk to us a lot, that's why me and my brother are comfortable in opening up to them.

"Siya nga po pala, where's the kid, Kyros?"

"Your brother is ju---"

"Ate! I'm not a kid!" Sabay-sabay kaming napalingon na tatlo kay Kyros, ang tanga kong kapatid. Well, I'm such a bully. Hindi naman siya tanga, in fact he's an achiever. Gusto ko lang siyang tawagin na ganun kasi feel ko. Atsaka di naman nila naririnig so it's fine.

"You still are! Come here nga, I missed the smell of a no ligo kid." He was looking at me with his chinky eyes as if he's angry.

"Baka ikaw no ligo! Baho baho mo ate tapos lagi mo pang nilalagay sa mukha ko yung paa—"

"Keanno, iho." Napalingon kami sa kung saan nakatingin si Mommy. There he is, looking gwapo and all. Ahem.

"Tita, Tito." Nagmano siya kay Mommy at Dad at pagkatapos ay tumingin sa akin. He smiled and winked. (He thinks he's hot when he does that like duhhh) "Kumusta po?" Mommy admiringly talked with my boyfriend as if he's her son.

That's a good thing though, my parents like Keanno and I don't even know why. Lol. Kidding, of course I do. The thing about him is he's very approachable and he's talkative, madali siyang makapagpalagayan ng loob. Even Kyros grew close to him and he respects Keanno so much. Minsan nagseselos na ako because that kid is not that respectful to me! He's a pain in the ass while for Keanno, he's such a goodie-goodie.

"Grayden, I'll just go to your Titos, okay? Have fun with your baby brother!" I stood up so Dad could go to our other relatives' table.

Naiwan nalang kami ni Kyros. He rolled his eyes at me.

"Oh my Gosh! Don't tell me you're a gay, kid? Is that why you like Keanno that much and hate me?" I jokingly said. Knowing my brother, he took it seriously.

He frowned.

"Ateee! Nahahawa na kasi ako sa kaartehan mo! But there's no way in hell that I would be gay!"

"So you're a sexist now? What's wrong with being gay?" I was laughing at the back of my mind when I saw his face turn red.

"I never said anything wrong about being gay! I'm just saying that it's nice to be a guy and that I'll never be gay." My inner bruha even laughed harder.

"Okay, okay. Hush now, ate understands you."

"Ateeeee!" He was soooo close to exploding when my laugh suddenly bursted.

"Alis na nga ako." I left my menopausal brother and went inside our house.

Asan na ba yung boyfriend kong feeling hot at gwapo? Nagpapamiss nanaman siya kahit alam niya namang di ko siya mamimiss because duhhh? Whatever.
