you want to be with them
physically hug them and kiss them
and you want them to be with you
physically hug you and kiss you
it's hard to get out
you want to escape to be happy
but you feel like you can't
instead you're stuck
afraid to be left behind
drowning in your own tears
wanting to scream out and yell
but you can't
you're not supposed to
there'll be other times for that
but there isn't really
