I think that we love because us as humans crave companionship. Even if we know that despair and tragedy is inevitable, we jump at the hope of something. Especially the something being "love". It's a quite terrible thing, but we do it anyway. And when we are successful once, well we think "why can't I try again?" _______________________________________ 2:27 pm 6/20/17
this was actually something I came up with while reading my friend's chapters on her thoughts on different aspects of life. no, unfortunately it's not on Wattpad (although she totally should), but she lets me read it. this particular chapter was on love, and she said what she thought of love and why we love. and I just thought, why don't I pitch in my thought on love because I always put my sense in (I'm joking). after I wrote this I actually really thought it was good, so I copied it and put it in my notes.
