Sorry guys, I know it's a short one, but it's better than nothing :) x

I’m The Option You Shouldn’t Have Chosen- Part fifteen – Be A Vampire.

In a room full of vampires, should I act like a vampire too. In this situation what would a vampire do? Probably tear eachother's throats out.

"I'm so sorry Sir!" I exclaimed as a buttler came over with a towel for the man. He looked to be in his late twenties, but obviously he could be five hundred years older than that. I didn't even know how old Slade was. "Would you like me to refill your glass while you clean up. I apologise for being such a clutz."

"That would be great thank you." The man said with a smile. "And everything is fine, accidents happen."

My nerves calmed as I realised that the man wasn't going to want to kill me. I took the wine glass from his hand as I spotted the drink bar to the side of the room. I went to a fancy looking drink dispenser that was full of red liquid and refilled the glass. Even though the blood was disgusting, I was still thankful that the man hadn't gotten mad at me.

I didn't want to know what Slade thought.

I took the drink to the man and he gave me his thanks. I couldn't tell what the look in Slade's eyes was, but then again I probably wouldn't want to know.

"Let's dance." Slade said while softly grabbing on to my arm and leading us to the middle of the dance floor where a few other couples were doing a casual ballroom dance.

"I'm sorry." I apologised about the drink spilling and Slade just gave a slight nod of his head while looking at me intently. Slade continued to spin and twirl me around the dance floor and I soon became extremely dizzy. "I'm so dizzy." I exclaimed to Slade as I started to stumble.

“It’s time to sit down for tea now anyway. Don’t stuff this up for yourself; this is the time when you have to make a good impression for your own sake.”

I don’t see how he could say that! It’s not like this was happening to him. My life was in danger because I had to ‘make a good impression’, but what for? So what if I didn’t end up as his wife. I was too young anyway.

We made our way back to the table where Slade pulled my chair out for me; I gave a quiet thankyou as I sat down and examined the people around myself. The vampires were all stunning, they all had flawless skin and hypnotic eyes, it was crazy how people could even look that way.

“Everyone.” Slade started as he stood up and graciously pulled me up with him. “I’d like to introduce you to Violet Chellsworth. She will be someone worth voting for.” I tried to put on my best smile as a way of greeting everyone. “You may sit back down now.” Slade said to me. “Now I know it may come as a shock to you all that a human is in the running to be my bride but I have good intentions. If Violet is who you choose, I’m sure she won’t let you down and this will help with the bonding of our worlds.”
