Background: As the son of King Tharras and Queen Salja, Karras was the prince of the Southern States, a faction of Tamaran that broke away from the rule of King Myand'r and Queen Luand'r. It is unclear when he became a prince and when the break from the rest of the kingdom occurred. As prince, he was also a high ranking military officer of the Southern States and as part of the pact that was to be sealed with his marriage to Princess Koriand'r, went to collect her and the Titans from Earth.
On a war-torn Tamaran, he and Koriand'r married in order to seal a contract made by their parents to unite their planet once again - the one catch was that they were both in love with other people and maintained those relationships with them. Eventually, Koriand'r gave up her marriage with Karras because of her unhappiness on the planet and joined Dick Grayson on Earth once again, leaving Karras to his relationship with Taryia.
It is unknown what he did after this but when again reunited with Koriand'r, they formed a team to defeat his sister, whose long-standing grudge against their planet had finally come to fruition in the form of revenge as she attempted to destroy Tamaran with her lover. Karras' selflessness prevented this from happening and he died in the line of duty. He was later honored with a funeral that befit a warrior of his kind and status.
