Chapter 8:

[Jam's POV]

So ngaun nagtititigan nanaman sila. Medyo o.p kami ah. 

"KAI! :D Upo ka muna oh. Dito ka na sa tabi ni Aiden." - Me

Tumaas ang dalawang kilay ni Tori. HAHAHA. Para sakanya naman yan. Sus.

Actually dpat papa-upuin ko si Kai sa tabi ni Tori kasi halata namang trip talaga ni ateng si pogi, pero mas gusto ko yung tipong may eye-contact sila.

 "Nga pala Aiden. Akala ko ba Jairus pangalanan nung friend mo?" Me to Aiden. Bwiset naman kasi to, kinabahan tuloy si Tori. Akala rin namin ni Vans mamimeet na talaga namin yung Jairus Eli na yun. Mas lalo tuloy tumataas ang curiosity level naming ni bakla. 

Aid: Jairus? Sino yun? Sabi ko CYRUS!

Me: Eh gago ka naman pala eh. Akala namin yung Jairus yung sinabi mo!

Aid: Kumakain kaya ako!

V: Ever heard of the saying don't talk when your mouth is full?

Aid: Pinagtutulungan niyo ko? Kayo magbayad ng iinumin niyo ha! :p

V: Aiden mabait ka! Remember? Wag ka magbabago.

Aid: Sabay ganun.

Me: Tori magsalita ka naman dyan. (tinignan lang ako -.-) Kausapin mo si Cyrus oh.

T: (smiles) Hi :D

C: We met again J

T: What a coincidence. Nice meeting you, again. Uhh. So… Shot! (Gives Cyrus a shot glass, half full)

Anebeyen. Ang hina ng lola mo.

Since first time namin makilala si Cyrus, siya ang topic namin. We asked him things like where he goes to school, where he lives, how old is he, syempre about him & his family. Pero there is one more question that we’re missing here and I’m sure Tori is dying to know what’s his answer going to be.

Me: Hey Cyrus. Are you single?

V: Hoy Jamaica ang kati mo! May Aiden ka na nga eh. Pati ba naman si Cyrus.

Me: Shut it Gaylord. Masamang magtanong?

V: Weeeh. Aiden kamutin mo nga yan.

Me: So. . . Cyrus?

C: I never dated anyone before.

We’re all like SERIOUSLY? ARE YOU FCKING KIDDING ME?

He’s so gwapo kaya, pamatay yung smile niya. If I’m not mistaken rich kid pa siya, pormahan pa lang obvious na obvious na. Tapos he’s very nice pa. Nakikisakay siya sa mga trip namen, tumatawa sa jokes and ‘di siya nahihiyang sumali sa convo. In short, he’s almost perfect! How the hell are we gonna believe him that he’s a no-girlfriend-since-birth-guy?!

A: Man, you serious?

C: Yup[?]

V: Sa sarap mong yan!? Baka hanggang friend with benefits lang gusto mo? Ayos lang saken if that’s the case. :>

Me: HAHAHAHAHA. Gago ka bakla. Bakit naman wala ka pang girlfriend?

C: Uhh. Maybe because I haven’t met her, the girl who’d make me go crazy.

He such a romantic guy! Kung hindi lang talaga occupied ang puso ko nako baka ma-fall ako dito.

[Tori’s POV]

Nakikinig na lang ako sa usapan. Medyo inaantok na kasi ako, nakaka-anim na pitcher na kami. And to think that I’m the weakest drinker? Mygosh. Nagising lang ako sa tanong ni Jam kanina.

NGSB? I don’t think so.

Jam: HAHAHAHAHA. Gago ka bakla. Bakit naman wala ka pang girlfriend?

Kung totoo nga un, bakit nga ba wala pa?

C: Uhh. Maybe because I haven’t met her, the girl who’d make me go crazy.

He was serious. And he smiled weakly. Oh sheez. Why is he so sweet? Siguro broken hearted siya. Siguro pareho kami. Tinititigan ko lang siya nang sikuhin ako ni Jam.

J: Yosi tayo sa labas! –Niyaya niya sila Vans at Aiden. Jam really is a good friend, nasesense niya na nagugustuhan ko na Cyrus. I like him as an individual alone. I mean, I think he is a good guy. And he’s friggin gorgeous.

At iniwan na nila kami. Hindi na rin nagtanong si Aiden, at sumunod na lang.

[Vans’ POV]

Me: Oh eh bat biglang nagyaya ka magyosi? May yosi k aba?

J: wala

Me: Gaga ka pala eh.

A: Ako na bibili. Ayan lang yung tindahan eh. (walks away)

J: Ang slow mo. Syempre they need some time alone.

Me: Alam ko kaya! I also know you need some sexy time with Aiden so Imma go there by that table full of yummy guys. Later! :D

[Tori’s POV]

Ok, last shot. After this hindi na ko iinom kahit ano pang pilit nila. *sigh*

C: Got a problem?

Me: Wala naman. Ikaw? May problema ka ba?

What a dumb thing to say Tori!  

C: Actually. Meron. (natawa pa siya ng konti)

Me: Ha?

C: Today’s the death anniversary of a very old friend of mine.

(There’s sadness in his eyes, he definitely loves his friend. MyGod! I am so sleepy na! Timing nga naman oh! Bat ngaun pa? T.T)

Me: Oh~ I’m sorry.

C: It’s fine. Know what? You remind me of her.

(Me? Bat ako? Sheez, I really can’t help it. Babagsak na yung eyelids ko. But I still want to hear him speak.)

Me: Why?

C: You look exactly like her. You’re both really beautiful. Sorry nga pala last time, I bet you think that I’m weird for staring at you for so long. I just couldn’t help myself, besides the fact that you’re very pretty, magkamukha talaga kayo ni Rina.

Me: R-Rina? Can you tell me more about her? I’ll listen. (My eyes are about to close now. NO! Kaya mo yan Tori. Hindi mo siya tutulugan. Aja!)

C: She’s my bestfriend since highschool. Lagi kami napagkakamalang couple sa sobrang close namin. My mom even asked me if it’s possible to marry her in the future kasi she really like Rina for me. We’d be perfect for each other daw. But then she died so soon.

(I can tell that he really loves this girl Rina. Not in a friendly way though. Sayang. I thought I could make him fall for me since wala naman pala siyang girlfriend. Silly me, how can I forget? Na yung mga single na may itsura ay single dahil may hinihintay or hindi makamove-on. At sa dalawang un, kami ni Cyrus ay yung pangalawa. Hindi makamove-on.)
