Alright guys so here's another update! My last update was so long so this one will be a little shorter. Please Comment and vote! Checkout my other fanfics and spread the word on this one! Now enough of my talking and here's to the writing ;)

I walk out of music and I laugh for the thousandth time today. Although this is not the best day of my life, it is the day I have laughed the most. I feel happy. I walk out of music and go to Marlene's locker. She gives me a piece of watermelon gum. I accept it gratefully. Somehow, we're in the same class but she can always get to her locker before me.

"Hey so you know the girl who got hamburger all over her?" Marlene asks me. I stand up a little taller.

"Yeah what about her?" I ask defensively.

"Relax. She's so nice. Her names Christina. When you left, she say with us. Her boyfriend's nice too," Marlene says.

"Ya Will. He's in our music class," I say.

"Oh that's his name? Well I have history with Mr. Eaton. What do you have?" Marlene asks.

"ELA with Mrs. Reyes," I respond happily. She sticks her tongue out at me. "Bye Mar!" I shout.

"Bye Tris!" I walk down the hall. I see Christina and Will. They quickly kiss and walk away. Christina walks into my ELA class. My stomach churns. I hope she doesn't hold a grudge.

I walk into class and scan the room for any familiar faces. The only friend I have in here is Christina. If she even counts.

I take a seat in the back of the room. I hope no one talks to me or Mrs. Reyes doesn't call on me.

I swing my backpack over my chair and start taking stuff out. After one minute there is a pencil, binder, notebook, and tablet resting to the side. I usually use my tablet to look up an unknown word because that happens so much in English class.

"Class for those of you who don't know I'm Mrs. Reyes. Every term I assign you a book to read. I will assign homework's on the book. You do it at your own pace but just warning you, every year there's one kid who does it on the last day," Mrs. Reyes says. Wow. I love to read so that shouldn't be a problem. I'm worried about the homework part. Every chapter! Jeez I'll be screwed. "The good thing is that this a partner work," Mrs. Reyes finishes. That is worse to me. I have to keep up with a partner. "Partners will be announced at the end of class."

Mrs. Reyes says that the first book we will be reading is The Fault in our Stars. I get excited. That's one of my favorite books.

"Um Tris? Are you listening?" I hear Christina's voice. Once again I haven't listened to a word said in class.

"Sorry. May you give me a summary if what we did?" I ask her.

"Oh all we did was start the introduction to our paper," she said. What is she talking about? Paper?

"What paper?" I ask.

"Oh god. I-Search. To quote Mrs- Reyes 'it's all about you.' The packet's in the front of the room," Christina says.

"Before the bell rings, the partners are on the board. The first homework is to read chapters 1-6 and write about one symbol you found with your partner. Please get started on I-Search," Mrs. Reyes says. Then the bell rings. I look on the board and see I'm partnered with Christina. Great.

"When's it due?" I ask Christina.

"I-search? 10 weeks. The book thing? Tomorrow," she answers. Dang it. "Tris what's your phone number?" We exchange phones and type our number in.

"Thanks. I'll text you later to meet up," I say. I quickly walk away.

Today has been the best day of school. The only thing is, I have to homework's that I need someone else to do. Christina will have to wait because I want to see Four first.

Ok guys! How'd you like it. Vote and comment. Please check out my other fanfics. Three days till Divergent! Oh my god!!!! I'm seeing Divergent in auditorium FOUR. How awesome is that? Alright bye everyone! Shine on! Oh and if you haven't noticed, that's my new sign off.
