Seeing him for the first time was just unbelievable.

He looked a lot taller than in the pictures I see on Tumblr.

"Thank you for visiting, Michael." My mom smiles.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to spend the day with her." He states.

The heart monitor started to beep loudly, from my excitement.

Nurse Mackenzie smiles. "It will take an hour or so for some tests, I don't want you to-"

"I'll wait." He interrupts.

Moments later, I was getting tested.

"Such a sweet boy, eh?" The Nurse says.

"Now you see why he's my favorite."

My mom helps me change as I stand up.

Since my lungs were weak, I needed to take an oxygen tank with me.

She helps me put on a shirt, trying not to hurt me.

Mom then pins back my hair with a bobby pin.

Before walking out my room, I see my reflection.

Skinny pale face, my thin arms, and my small, perky chest.

Brushing a loose strand, I walk out of the room.

"Ready?" He says, standing up.

Breathing in from the tank, I nod.

"Let me help you with that." He gets my oxygen tank.

"Thanks." I smile.

We walk to the front desk, and I sign out. He seemed to already called a taxi because we the man was waiting for us.

Michael helping me get inside the car, he turns and looks at me.

"I'm going to make this the best day of your life."
