Zayn giggled nervously and glanced at me . I closed my notepad and went again in the kitchen .
I could hear Zayn’s voice , he was talking to Jake .
“ when do you close the resto And finish the work here?”
“ 8:00 pm . why?” Jake replied kind of confused . I took the plate and started cooking the weird ‘je t’aime choco ’ recipe .
“ oh just asking just asking ….” Zayn answered slowly . then I couldn’t hear their conversation because Samantha’s voice was too annoying . I wanted to give them the chocos , but Jake stopped me . “let me pick them by myself “ he mumbled and took the plate from my hands roughly .
I sighed .
Zayn and Samantha ate and continued talking . “ god bless who cooked this choco , yummy “ Zayn said out loud .
“thanks.” Jake answered .
I swept the floor groaning “WTF? With Jake? Anyway…”
At 7:00pm , Zayn got up from his chair and announced screaming : ‘’ well gotta goo guys !! as you said you finish working at 8pm? Good good . oh and ..visiting the park during the night is great ..well Bye !’’
Samantha Hugged him screaming : “ bye babyyyy I love yu ! come again sometimes ! you love me yeaah? Do u?”
Zayn pulled her again : ‘ ghh I will come again Sammie , sammar ..”
“SAMANTHA!!!!” she screamed in his ear .
He giggled and left .
I had now one more hour of working non-stop , until 8:00pm . Jake and Samantha left the restaurant , they said they wanted to celebrate Samantha’s new relationship . sometimes , I don’t understand them .
I washed the last 10 plates thinking of Zayn’s last sentence “visiting the park during the night is great ..’’
What did he mean? Was he talking to me indirectly ? no , I was dreaing too much . I’m just a waitress , nothing more for him . I grabbed my bag and walked through the dark empty streets . I noticed that I forgot my warm coat in the restaurant . “ shit it’s cold” I mumbled . The park was on my way . A guard was sitting there . I continued walking slowly , but I suddenly stopped myself and went in the park . I don’t know why but I did it . Some few couples were sitting there , kissing each other . that’s why everyone called it “ the love park” .
“ hey you ! what are you doing here ! its night! ” the guard shouted to me .
“ uhh , I forgot my … coat here … in the park .” I lied .
“ you are young . you can’t come here alone you know it I guess? You can be punished severely by the law you know it? “ he screamed .
Why did I go to this shitty park ..” I thought and nodded quietly .
“No , she’s not alone , she’s with me .” a sweet voice announced . I froze immediately . it was Zayn .
