CHAPTER 8

*9 Months later*

8 months later..Maya and Lucas's apartment was having it's finishing touches to make it the way Maya wanted it, Riley and Farkle went to London for a month so Farkle could do tests for his Sciency job, Zay and Smackle..Well they got busy..Triplets busy

*Before the birth*

"Hun are you sure I should go? You are due any day now, Maybe even today" Zay hesitated to leave his heavily pregnant wife

"Yes! Go! Maya will be here any minute" Smackle tried to stand and walked over to kiss him

"The poor girl has been here everyday for the past week!" Zay leant against the wall

"I don't mind it Zay, She is like one of my best friends" Maya walks through the door

"How did you know we were talking about that" Zay questioned Maya and gave her a hug

"Like I said, she is one of my Best friends" Maya walks over to Smackle and takes the plate of her

She walks Smackle over to the couch

"Celery and Peanut butter?"

Smackle nodded

"See this is why I need to be here" Maya brings over the food

"Okay fine, Call me if anything happens!" Zay added before leaving

"Yes, yes I have had you on speed dial the past week" Maya smiles and shuts the door

"What do you wanna watch today?" Maya asks heading to Smackle

"Elf" she smiles

"Elf as in the christmas movie Elf?" Maya questions her

Smackle nods

"But it's March"

"But i'm Nine months pregnant" Smackle shot back

Maya put her hands in the air as if she surrenders and put the movie on

About half way through the movie..

"MAYA!" Smackle shouts

"I'm here!" Maya sat up

"It's Coming!" Smackles eyes glass over and she moans in pain

"Okay get in the Car!" Maya walks Smackle to the back of the car and she cries in agony

"You will be ok!" Maya tries to sooth her

"Can you call-"

"Yes!"

Maya picks up her phone and calls Zay

"Maya" Zay talks

"Zay hi, yea your wife is going into labour i'm driving to the hospital now!"

"WHAT! I said I should've been home today"

"Just get there" Maya hangs up and arrives at the hospital

When they walk through the doors nurses rush over and put smackle on a wheel chair and take her to the room

Now Maya waits

"Maya?" a familiar voice echoed around her

Maya looked up "Luc?"

Lucas walks over to Maya and puts his hand on her knee

"What are you doing here?" Maya asks

"My mom works here, She wanted some stuff because she has a overnight shift..Why are you here?"

"Well you see Smackle's kids decided to come out today.." Maya nods her head

"You took her here" He asks

"Yea Zay had to work, 3 kids soon" She replied

"Isadora Smackle" the doctor calls out

Lucas and Maya both stand up

"Ah so you're the father?" the doctor asks Lucas

"No her husband is on the way" Lucas told him

"Oh well there's some bad news" The doctor goes to explain

"One of them doesn't have a heartbeat, Come through when the Husbands here" The doctor turns and walks away

Maya's eyes welled up with tears and her hands covered her mouth, Lucas pulled her into a tight bear hug

"Maya, Lucas!" Zay calls as he runs into the waiting room

"Why are you crying" Zay's expression changed

Maya wiped her tears "I think you should go see your wife" Maya nods and walks to the room with the boys following

"Has she given birth to all 3" Zay asked

"No, Only 1 so far" Lucas chipped in

"Go in!" Maya told Zay

Zay put on the blue clothing pieces that the doctor provided

"Isadora" he walks in and takes her hand

"I have 2 more to go!"

"And it's a Girl!" the doctor hold the baby and the other doctor takes it to get cleaned up

"No only 1 more" Zay smiled

Smackle screamed and Zay felt her pain through her voice

"Also a Girl!" the doctor passes it to another

"You did it!" he squeezed her hand

"Yea, NEVER AGAIN!" she shouts and Zay stepped back a bit

*30 mins later*

"How you doing?" Maya walks in

"Maya Papaya!" Smackle opens her arms and Maya hugs her

"Okay so we have news" Doctor walks in

Lucas puts his hand on Maya's back "We should go wait outside" They both turn to walk out

"No Stay" Smackle asked

They sat back down

"Here is your baby, Born at 1:37 pm" The doctor hands the small fragile girl to her mother

"And your other baby girl, Born at 1:43 pm" The doctor hands the girl to her father

"Now, Your first daughter Born at 1:28 Sadly was born without a heartbeat" The doctor explains carefully then leaves

"This is why you were crying?" Zay looks to Maya who is leaning on Lucas's chest

"Yea, we are so sorry guys" Maya nods and so does Lucas

"It'll take time, but we still have these two" Smackle stares down at the girl that she was holding

"Can I see the other" Smackle looks to Zay

They swap babies and start small whispering to them

Maya looks at Lucas in awe, He rolls his eyes and smiles

"Camri Rose" Smackle brushed the child's soft face

"I Like that" Zay smiles

"CeCe" He looks down to his child

"CeCe Faith" He smiles

Smackle nods

"CeCe Faith and Camri Rose, My little girls" Zay sat next to Isadora and talked to her about them

Maya and Lucas left them to be and went to their apartment.
