Split

Twisted pride and heartfelt feeling, utter anguish, that sends me reeling. The wonders of this earth, are sure to never cease, This tortured soul of mine has gained another crease.

Those clawed and toothy tortured ones have decided to come out and play, please Lord, oh please give me the strength to make them go away.

Oh look, they want to play jump-rope, they brought some chains with them. Um, no dude, they don't want to play jump-rope, those chains were made for sinning.

Come on it'll be fun, we won't go far. No way man, count me out, remember who we are? Yea I remember but just leave me alone! I'm on my way to party and you keep calling my phone.

I call cause I care man, like you're a part of me. I don't want your tortured soul to leak over into me. No worries man, it'll be all right, if my soul leaks at all I bet it won't be tonight.

Allright man, goodbye, I wash my hands of you, from here until forever we shall be two. Yea whatever dude, you don't scare me, it's better this way becuase I'll be more free.

The strained mind finally fractured, and splintered into two. It's quite a strange situation to think about, where "me", is now also "you".
