It's true that I have bad dreams. It is also true that I sometimes go down stairs for a cup of tea and a good read. I would never outright lie to Trixie but I had to choose which truths to tell. The ones that could put me in danger or the ones that could reassure a trusted friend.
I stayed in our room all night to ensure that Trixie didn't doubt our friendship again. It wouldn't have been fair on her.
