PERCY'S POV

"Why?" Nico asks.

I scowl at the ground, and the dirt freezes under my glare.

"Poseidon," I mutter, "That's my guess."

"What?" Thalia asks.

"Poseidon probably doesn't think of me as his son anymore in his mind. Which is why my water abilities are changing into ice."

"But, how? I mean, ice is merely water in a different form, right?"

"There is a huge difference between liquids and solids I guess."

Thalia and Nico seem to understand.

"Are you telling the camp?" Nico asks.

"Maybe not now, but later."

"Can we tell Piper, Jason, Leo, Frank, and Hazel?"

"Sure. But you both have to swear on the River Styx to not tell anyone else and make them swear, too," I say.

They nod, and Nico shadow travels away while Thalia just runs off.

I sigh and walk around the forest.

I use ice to write what I had just told Nico and Thalia and just stare at it.

I hear a gasp behind me.

I uncap Pagonia and whirl around.

Nobody.

I relax. I must be on edge because now eight people know my identity.

But now it's probably nine.

Shut up!

I then feel a powerful presence nearby.

I grab Pagonia again and turn and stand calmly.

"Come out, now," I order smoothly.

Two people I never expected to come emerge from the forest.

Poseidon and Annabeth.

Both have wide eyes.

Both have worry sparkling in them.

I glare at them.

"Percy-" Annabeth starts.

I freeze her under my glare.

Poseidon stares at me. Then Annabeth. Then me. Then Annabeth.

"Percy? What-"

I send an icicle I created out of thin air in his direction.

"Percy. What happened?"

I shiver and feel my anger exit me. It takes the form of a blizzard.

"What happened?" I say dangerously, "You disowned me in your mind. My new powers are proof of that, Poseidon."

He flinches at his name.

"Unfreeze Annabeth at least."

I snap my fingers, and she gasps as the ice melts.

"Percy..." She whispers.

"I'm not Percy." I snap at her.

"I'm Glaciem."
