Chapter 1
"Ana!" He yelled
I woke up with my heart pounding. Sweat going down my back, screaming at the top of my lungs. Wendy ran in,
"Ana Sweetie are you alright?"
"Yes just had a bad dream."
"Is it about your past, right?" I nod "Ana you need to let go of your past, no one is going to hurt you."
"I can't... "
"Ana this is your chance to start over!"
"I know I'll try."
"Hurry up and get ready for school." Wendy said jumping up and down with joy.
"Okay Wendy."
"Ana, please call me mom."
"I can't right now it's too hard."
"Okay dear, whenever your ready I'll let you get change." She said heading out of the door.
Today is the day when I start my new life. My real parents abused me then finally I couldn't take it anymore, I escaped to the police station. A few weeks later I'm here in my new house, new parents, new town, new life.
I never thought I would have a future 'till now but right now I'm nervous . I rush and grab my clothes and put them on, then I put my hair in a bun and run downstairs to the kitchen.
"Ana eat something." Wendy said handing me some pancakes. I stuff them in my mouth and drink my juice.
"Bye Wendy. Bye Steve."
"Wait Ana! Let me drop you off." Steve exclaimed.
"Okay." I grab my bag and head to the car and wait for Steve.
Today is the day I'm starting a new chapter in my life.
