Lady Artemis yelled "Shut up and act your age or atleast slightly mature" quite loudly. Idly, my ADHD brain thought- wow you must have really strong vocal chords to yell like that. maybe all gods could be opera singers. Her captivating silver eyes narrowing slightly burned at me like molten metal. "-do with him?" she finished. I stared around blankly and noticed the gods in quiet conversation- what were they talking about???At last lord Zues said in a commanding voice, " Jackson shall live with the hunters for a period of one year and learn basic wilderness training. At the end of the training the hunters can choose to let him stay with them forever or go solo and survive by himself, either way, jackson is not going back to that accursed camp again." I almost fainted with shock when Artemis respectfully bowed to her father and replied," His training will start tomorrow my lord". She accepted it without arguing that the hunt was only meant for girls and a male would ruin them! Nothing she said nothing but then again it was probably just her obeying her fathers orders. I had zoned out during all this so I was surprised as she spoke in my head, her melodius voice grazing my ears in a soft lilting tilt - she said"get ready boy we're leaving in 30 seconds, you better catch up" In my zoning out I hadn't even noticed the gods flashing out and the hunters leaving with only me left in the chamber. I hurried out and caught a set of glimmering silver eyes glaring at me" youre late by 3 seconds boy, thats 10 miles of running in pitch black darkness for you tonight" Needless to say, this would not be a fun enjoyable experience
