The magic mirror on the wall
Said you're the fairest of them all.
Swift in beauty, kind in word,
You're nothing short of the heavenly bird.
And into my life, your love did creep.
The spoils of war your beauty did reap.
My heart no longer was loyal to me.
But enticed and captivated by thee.
My soul was taken by surprise
By feelings of warmth I felt arise.
For you had turned my heart of stone
Into one of love nestled in my bones.
I found myself the faint of heart.
And your rosebud love tore me apart.
Red petals to attract and hidden thorns to sting,
You make me scream and laugh and sing.
