I remember the way you would smile.
How you'd look at me with nothing but love.
But our strong connection had turned vile.
We weren't in favor with the stars above.
I remember the sound of your sweet laugh.
So light and carefree; it warmed my cold heart.
And when you left, my heart was cut in half.
I couldn't bear it when we were apart.
I remember you being next to me.
I was a lonesome moth, drawn to your flame.
My heart strings were cut and you were set free.
The love we shared was dead; what a damn shame.
I miss you the way the stars miss the earth.
And now I'm alone, forced into rebirth.
