What is Love?

What is the love we find in each other?

Can words describe all of the things we feel?

We find that someone we want to smother,

And shape our feelings into something real.

Love is the warmth that follows a Cold War.

The good night's rest after a stressful day.

The voice that wants you coming back for more.

The action that your words simply can't say.

Love is the food you leave for a stray dog.

The mother caring for her newborn child.

The light that guides us through the thickened fog.

The sea-green eyes that make your heart go wild.

Love is the Father sending us His Son.

A savior who has battled Death and won.
