Chapter 30

I hear a knock at the door and I remember Stephanie is coming over after the show

I get up and open the door to reveal Steph and Paul

"Hey come in" I smile, I walk over to the couch and they follow in suite

I sit next to Reby, Jon stayed in the room he fell asleep, so Reby and I just been talking

"So Alex we well I actually just wanted to come check on you" Stephanie says grabbing my hand

"Alex it seems like your going back to that dark place and I'm really worried" she continues

"As your boss and a friend I worry especially right now with Josh coming back, Jeff back in the company and everything else going on I don't want to see you go back to that dark place"

I grab Stephanies hand with my left hand and squeeze it

"I'll be fine I just..." I start and stop trying to find the right wording "need space from the world" I say finishing off my sentence

"Thats why next week I was going to go to that small log house Eddie left me" I say growing up with my dad, brother, and uncles in WWE I became close with Eddie Guerro and many other legends, when he unfortunately passed he left that small log cabin to me for when I was older

"Well that's good just relax don't think about anything except bettering yourself ok" she smiles hugging me

After they leave I lay down in Rebys lap while she plays with my hair

"Sammi what did she mean by 'going back to that dark place'?" Reby asks

"A few years back I went into a real bad depression and I started pushing everyone away and drinking all the time showing up to shows either hung over or still drinking that's why that one year I only had the one storyline, also I would also show up high on painkillers and other pill so after that storyline Stephanie forced me to go to rehab that's why I became straight edge try stay clean and I get why she's worried she doesn't want to see me so spacey again" I say facing her belly

"How come we never knew?" She asks running her fingers through my hair

"Jeff and I were kind of broken up I don't know" I hug her

"Samaria Alexis Anoa'i no matter what is happening I'll always be here for you" she caress my head and rubs her thumb on my cheek bone

"I know but I over think everything and I didn't want to bother anyone with my problems" I just say quietly

"Alex you will never bother me I love you, your my sister"

"I love you too Rebecca" I say getting up and hugging her

She moves quickly

"Maxel loves you too" she laughs holding her stomach as he kicks again

I pull away and sit back and there was another knock on the door

"I'll get it" Jon says walking out of the room rubbing his eyes

"Hey man" I hear Matts voice "Reby still here?"

"Yah her and Alex are still talking" Jon replies opening the door wider for him to walk in

"Oh my god I had an amazing idea" Reby says grabbing my arm

"We should go on a double date tomorrow"

"Reby we going back to Tampa in the morning" I say frowning

"Boo you suck" she throws a pillow at my head

"I'm sorry I want to go home for a bit before going to the cabin" I say throwing it back at her

"Cabin?" Jon asks

"Yah I thought I'd use the cabin my uncle Eddie left me" I say looking at Jon

"Ohh just you?" I nod my head and he just nods

He frowns and I get up hugging him

"I'll be ok" I smile pulling away a bit and pecking his cheek

"Are you sure?" He asks pulling me closer to his body

"I'm sure" I say smiling

"I love you so much Alex" Jon says kissing my forehead

"I love you too Jonathan" I lay my head on his toned chest

"Alex your phone is ringing" Reby says tossing me my phone

"Hello" I say hitting the green answer button

"Hi momma" I hear my sweet sons voice through the speaker

"Hi handsome"

"Momma guess what" he says all cheery

"What bubba?" I smile

"I got an A on my spelling bee" he says I can tell he was smiling

"I'm proud of you" I say

"I gotta go momma Papa called it's dinner time"

"Ok love you bubba"

"Love you too momma" he says before hanging up

I put my phone in my pocket

"Luca got an A on his spelling bee" I say smiling

"Wow way to go Luca" Reby says smiling

"Oh right I am going to Baptist Luca and was wondering if Reby wants to be his Godmother" I smile looking at Reby

"Oh my god yes I would love too" she smiles getting up to hug me

"And Matt would you like to be his Godfather?" I ask as Reby pulls away

"It'd be an honor" he says
