Three long weeks had passed and finally half-term had started. Caitlin had been pacing around her room ever since she woke up, she couldn't distract herself to stop. But time was moving so slowly and she practically itched with anticipation. At eleven she would leave the house and drive to the airport where she and Barry would reunite. If only for a week.

And after hours of staring at her clock, she watched as the minute hand struck eleven. As if she was a Flash, she bolted straight out of the door, almost forgetting her car keys as she ran out of the door.

Unfortunately for Caitlin, the traffic was hell so it took her a whole half hour to arrive at the airport. On the bright side, she was only waiting in the arrivals area for a few minutes when she saw the face of her love walk out of the arrivals gate, and as quickly as she spotted him she darted towards him and right into his arms.

She heard the thud of his bag dropping to the ground as he circled his arms around her waist to bring her as close as possible. Suddenly, it felt like they were the only ones in the room despite the fact that there were hundreds of others all around them. Their own safety fog surrounded them and they were home again. Still embracing each other, they crashed their lips together and everything clicked back into its place, right where it belonged.

"I love you," Caitlin whispered, one hand lying precariously on his cheek and the other arms wrapped around his neck to make sure they stayed as close as humanly possible.

"I love you too," Barry replied, softly kissing her head. "Come on, let's get out of here,"

Soon enough, they reached Caitlin's house. Their hands not separated at all on the journey here, staying connected on top of the gear stick.

"My dad is away all this week, work related business in Dubai. My mom went with him. If only for the fine luxuries of Dubai," Caitlin informed, her voice ridden with disgust as she mentioned her mother.

"So, we are alone all week?" Barry asked hopefully. Their week together would be far more enjoyable if her parents weren't there with their opinion. Particularly, her mother.
