How I'll Remember You

In every breath I take is your scent infused,
Every word I hear, reminds me of the ones you used.
The cigarette's swirling smoke, captures me like your deep eyes,
In every rumble of thunder, I hear your deep heavy sighs.
When I feel lonely, your memory invades my brain,
So I reside with my demons, to keep me from going insane.
The enveloping darkness reminds me of your comforting arms,
The warning on the bottle, seems like your inflictable harm.
The roaring flames remind me of how quickly you engulfed me,
The conflagration, of how you caused destruction for miles to see.
The bellowing winds sound like your musical, hearty laugh,
Seeing the lightning split the sky, I remembered how you tore me in half.

Nothing good reminds me of you,
But when I'm left alone, surrounded by bad things; the only thing I can remember is you.
