Dear Diary,
Today is the first day after winter break and am super excited to get back with my friends. After all this is our last semester in middle school and we need to make the best of every moment we have here. Next year in high school who knows what will happen. Luckily I am still Violetta; the girl who is friends with only boys, you is no ones' girlfriend, who can ride a skateboard, and who still has a major crush on her best friend Leon. I wish nothing would change, except for maybe being Leon's friend into Leon's girlfriend. But what I am saying if for something nearly impossible, like mom always says "Boys take longer to mature and to notice their emotions then girls." And she is right, besides my dad would die if I ever started dating......
"Violetta! Hurry up, you are going to be late for school!" [Vilu's Mom]
"Oh no. Coming!" [Violetta]

"Hey sleeping beauty, did you just got out of your sleeping coma?!" [Federico]
"It's okay Marryweather, I have you and two other fairy godmothers to help me keep track of time." [Violetta]
"You two are already at each other, it's too early for this." [Maxi]
"Don't worry, we all know how this is going to end." [Leon]
Bus arrives and we all sit in our normal seating; Andres and Broadway, Maxi and Federico, and lastly Leon and me. It took us 10 minutes to reach the school and we all had to go to the chorus room because this where we all have homeroom.
"Good morning students! We will begin once I have taken roll and when the second bell rings." [Pablo]
"Lion! This year I was thinking that maybe you should sit next to me." [Ludmilla]
"Sorry, but I already have a seat. Next to my friends." [Leon]
"Ohhh...." [Fede, Maxi, Andres, and Broadway]
Bell rings and Pablo stands in the front of the classroom.
"Alright guys, this year is your last year and next year you will be starting in a different school where things will change. As for this year I hope those you continue with their musical paths, that they will participate in the end of the year show. It will focus on your journeys throughout this year, experiences, and how you will approach your next chapter in life." [Pablo]
"Pablo, can we write our own songs?" [Francesca]
"Yes, and I think we should include two bands, two solos, one group song, and one duet." [Pablo]
"I will be the female lead of course!" [Ludmilla]
"Acutally Ludmilla, everyone will have to audition for the vocal parts. Class will end in about 15 minutes so the rest will be free time." [Pablo]
Everyone started talking right away to their friends; Francesca and Camilla, Ludmilla and Nati, the guys and I.
"Alright so after the skate park we should meet in Leon's garage and start writing the song for the boys band." [Maxi]
"That sounds good. Vilu you can come and watch us if you want." [Leon]
"Actually I can't come over later today or to the skate park." [Violetta]
"Why?" [Leon]
"Are you turning into an actual girl?" [Fede]
"No! I have a yearbook meeting after school today, then afterwards I want to go home." [Vilu]
"Well maybe some other time. I would like for us to have an outside point of view." [Leon]
"Sure, some other day." [Violetta]
- - - - (FRANCESCA AND CAMILLA'S POV) - - - -
"Fran we need an addition to our group." [Camilla]
"Totally! But who the only one who sings confidentally is Ludmilla." [Fran]
"How about Nati?" [Cami]
"Are you kidding, she has zero confidence, and did you forget she is Ludmilla's sidekick." [Fran]
"You're right!" [Cami]
"Cami, what about Vilu?" [Fran]
"Possibly, but I don't even know if she sings." [Cami]
"Well then we need to ask her." [Fran]
Francesca and Camilla come up to me in front of all the guys.
"Ladies, I understand that I am irresistible but you should try maybe next year." [Fede]
"We didn't come to talk to you." [Fran]
"Well then its me." [Brodway]
"Nope." [Cami]
"Me?" [Maxi]
"Nope, but we will have a question for you in science. Fran and I don't understand what we are learning in that class." [Cami]
"Girls I am flattered..." [Leon]
"Don't be, we didn't come for you." [Fran]
"Are you here for...Andres?" [Maxi, Brodway, Fede, and Leon]
"What?" [Andres]
"NO!!!" [Fran and Cami]
"We are here to ask Violetta a question." [Fran]
"Me?" [Vilu]
"Yes, Fran and I were wondering if you plan on trying out for the show." [Cami]
"Because we would like you to audition with us for the girls band." [Fran]
Laughs came from all the guys, and then Leon made me furious with what he said next.
"Vilu doesn't sing. She can write good music, but she never sings." [Leon]
"What a shame, she would have been perfect for our trio. Well I guess we will see you around." [Cami]
