Chapter 4

Jayden's POV

Half way through the movie, I was super bored. Our seats were awful considering we couldn't see anything over the people's heads in front of us.

"Hey let's ditch" I whispered to Shawn.

He looked at me.

"What about Brooklyn?" he asked.

I looked back at her. Taylor just yawned and put his arm around Brooklyn, it looked like she was yelling at him now.

I laughed.

"Oh come on, she's gonna be fine. We'll just go for a walk" I said.

"alright I guess" Shawn replied.

We walked through the rows of people, outside.

"It's beautiful out" Shawn whispered looking at the stars.

I knew this wasn't a date, it was Brooklyn dragging her two best friends on her date with a douche.

Shawn probably doesn't like me anyway. He's just my best friend. He's just my best friend.

I took out my phone.

"Photoshoot!" I shouted.

Shawn jumped in and started taking pictures.

I clicked the camera button non-stop.

"Don't stop moving" I yelled.

We laughed, and I kept snapping pictures.

We made the weirdest faces ever.

Then suddenly I stopped looking at the camera and I stared at Shawn .

He stared back at me.

We moved closer.

I was still taking pictures.

We kissed.

I swear my heart exploded right then and there.

I pulled away and stared at him.

"I'm in love with my best friend." I whispered.

"Is he bigger then me?" Shawn asked.

I laughed and playfully punched him in the arm.

"He is you!" I shouted.

Shawn's face went serious... oh my god. He probably doesn't like me. I'm gonna cry and die in a hole from embarrassment.

"Well I want you to help me out, I like this girl...." he started.

"Shawn I just told you I like you and you want me to help you get another girl!" I yelled.

"Wait you didn't let me finish. I really like this girl.... her name is Jayden."

I swear I couldn't stop smiling. I bit my lip nervously.

"So what does this make us?"

"Well normally I would say we go on a few dates before, but I've known you my whole life. Jay, will you be my girlfriend?"

This is officially the best day of my life.

"Y-yes!"

I looked at my phone and the looked at the photos we just took.

I laughed when I saw the last one. It was us kissing. I showed it to Shawn.

"That's a sexy ass picture, it's now my favorite" he laughed.

I pulled him into a hug.

He twirled me around and put me down and kissed me.

"I've waited so long for this" I whispered.
