The Combe Carey Hall case didn't end as well as Lockwood, Lucy, and George had intended. Lucy had taken too long taking Annabel Ward's locket out of its container resulting in Percy Grebe shooting Lucy in the leg before the locket was fully out, Lucy fell to the floor in pain dropping the locket next to her, Annie's ghost slowly formed and attacked Mr. Fairfax. Grebe ran for it and Lockwood chased after him with a fire poker as George ran to aid Lucy, as soon as DEPRAC officers arrived Lockwood ran back to Lucy as well, he and George stayed with Lucy until medics were able to get her to the hospital. The bullet had gone straight through her leg and left a gaping wound, she was bandaged up and sent home after a few days.
