Addicted
Chapter 1
His fingers wrapped in my hair
He pouted “Why did you have to cut it?”
I laughed “Because it’s a new year, I always change something about myself in a new year”
“What did you change last year?”
I frowned “I dumped Connor”
He smirked and wrapped his arms around my waist “That was a good thing”
“And cutting my hair isn’t?”
He shook his head “I liked it long”
I rolled my eyes and unlinked his hands from my waist
“Don’t play cute with me Rock Star” I warned walking away from him
He shoved his face into the pillow of the lounge and groaned
“What are you annoyed about?” I laughed swinging open the doors on the breakfast bar of the kitchen that looked out on our new living room
“Nothing” he sighed, scrunching the pillow in his arms and propping it under his chin “Just looking at my gorgeous fiancé”
I laughed “Idiot”
“You love me” he argued as I walked away
I shook my head and grabbed a can of coke and bottle of beer from the fridge
The drinks were removed and he spun me around, kissing me roughly
“This is-“he cut me off with a kiss “illegal”
He laughed “How?”
“I’m 18 now, you are still technically a minor” I winked
He groaned “Please tell me that’s not you’re actual reason for not wanting to sleep with me”
I took the beer from the counter and popped the lid “Yup”
His eyes dropped closed and shook his head
“Are you serious?”
“Dead serious” I admitted jumping up on the counter
“If you keep this up I’m going to be dead”
“Or the skin on your hands will be rubbed raw” I winked
He settled himself in between my legs and rubbed his nose on my neck “You’re really going with the abstinence until marriage thing?”
I nodded, placing my drink down and picking up his head in my hands
“I’ve been with so many idiots, I wanted my first time to be special and it never ended up being so, you’re going to be my husband, you’re going to be the last man I ever sleep with, that counts for more than anything”
He nodded “I understand babe, I just miss you”
“I’m still here” I laughed “Just not in that way”
He gave me a cheeky smirk “I guess I can rub my hand raw for a little longer”
I laughed and pushed him back, jumping off the counter and grabbing my beer
I walked out into the living room and looked around slightly
Reece and I had brought our own apartment a 10 minute drive from Rockers Records and a 10 minute drive from Sony, easy for both Reece and I to get to work
It was exactly like my old apartment, just down the road from the building too, only this space was bigger
There was a large main bedroom down the end of the hall on the left next to that was the bathroom, there were 2 smaller bedrooms on the right of the hall that we used for Reece’s Family and Friends when they came to stay, the living room was bigger with all my old furniture and the kitchen was wider with cool marble counters and a breakfast bar complete with shutters joining to the living room
I liked our new place, but that wasn’t the only thing that had changed around here
Edan Richard Blue Kali-Connelly was 3 months now, Abbey and Rick are the proudest parents you could see on the streets, they just started Edan in play group and it’s funny to know that my nephew is exactly like Reece
He has bright blue eyes and light brunette hair and although I know its Abbey’s eyes and Rick’s hair, I still can’t help thinking that he’s Reece’s blood nephew and not mine
Reece was working on his 2nd studio album and he had decided to include Timeless on it, he kept going on about how it was ‘our song’ and he just had to include it on the album
I didn’t mind, it was his album
The last thing that had changed was our wedding
Because Reece was 18 we legally couldn’t get married without his parents’ permission – which they gladly gave us, that wasn’t the problem though; we had been waiting till I turned 18 so that we could get married because of course we weren’t going to get my parents’ permission
No, The Doctor and the Lawyer still hated the Rock Star marrying their daughter
I turned 18 in 3 days
That’s when we started to plan the wedding
Liv and Abbey were working together on this because I did not want to take any part in picking dresses and flowers, I’d be much happier to elope in Las Vegas but our families wanted to see us get married so I was having a white wedding with dresses, table flowers and all
Reece kissed my neck “Thinking babe?”
I nodded
“About what?”
I smiled over my shoulder at him and kissed his lips gently
“About how addicted I am to you”
He laughed “I love you too”
I knew he was telling the truth
