Chapter 24 - Banana Island

(In school...)
(In Rex’s classroom...)
Teacher:  So everyone, how about we read today?
Student:  What’s the book about?
Teacher:  Well about magic.
Rex:  Um... Does magic really exist?
Teacher:  Well you aren’t kids anymore, you are all growing up so I think it’s just best to tell the truth, magic doesn’t exist, if it did I would have made a spell to become rich, if only that happens someday... A dream's a dream hehe.
Teacher:  ... Okay lets begin everyone.
Rex:  ...
(The teacher and students open their books and start reading...)
(After much time...)
(A student looks at one of the pages full of bananas and monkeys...)
Student:  Wow... I’m hungry!
Teacher:  Haha you love bananas? Well it’s soon time for break.
Student:  I want to eat now!
(The student grabs his wand...)
Rex:  He’s a wizard!?
Teacher:  Stop fooling around and lets continue reading.
(The student casts a spell on the page...)
(The teacher and students get teleported inside the book...)

(In the fifth page of the book...)
Teacher:  Where are we??
Student:  Yay banana!
(The student takes a banana from the ground and eats it...)
Teacher:  Magic is real??
(The student turns the teacher into ice...)
Student:  Um... I wondeeer...
(The student teleports a lot of bananas on the teacher...)
(The student melts the bananas...)
Student:  Cool!
(The student starts licking the bananas off the frozen teacher...)
Rex:  Great...
(Rex hides behind the bushes...)
Another student:  No wonder you’re fat and crazy.
(The student turns the other students into bananas...)
Student:  Now I will eat you all!
(Rex blasts the student a little far away...)
(Rex quickly turns the students back to their normal form...)
Rex:  Okay... How do we get out of here!?
(Rex frees the teacher from the ice and melted bananas...)
Another student:  Wow magic is real!!
(Rex quickly cages the students and teacher together...)
Rex:  I will come back soon, just stay here if you wish to survive.
(Rex covers the cage with bananas for them to eat fast with magic...)
(Rex runs after the student to find him...)

(After some time...)
(Rex finds the student on the ground with some monkeys...)
Rex:  You’re a wizard John?!
John:  Yes I am and I guess you are also!
Rex:  Why didn’t you just teleport a banana on your hand?
John:  Because I want millions of bananas, and this book is about a magical island full of monkeys and bananas.
Rex:  Weird book...
John:  I shall rule it and turn humans into my slaves! Oh and the monkeys too obviously.
Rex:  Not if I'm around.
John:  While you were searching for me I made a spell on some monkeys to be my slaves and to capture you... Oh and I set a trap for you!
Rex:  Huh!? Wow you're crazy...
(Rex quickly looks behind him and gets knocked out by one of the monkeys...)
John:  The trap didn’t work...
(John destroys the trap...)
(John cages Rex with a wooden cage and takes his wand...)
John:  Wake up wizard!
(John casts a spell on Rex to wake up...)
Rex:  What the... I just had a weird dream...
John:  Well it wasn’t a dream Rex, welcome to John Island!
Rex:  John Island?
John:  Yes, I will call it John Island once I rule it... Which I will now.
(John teleports away and starts casting many spells to rule the island...)
Rex:  Great... I really don’t care about him ruling something that doesn’t really exist... I just care that my classmates and I... And teacher are trapped in this book for who knows how long.
Rex:  My wand... He took it!
Rex:  I need to find a way to get out of here...
(Rex starts punching the wooden cage...)
Rex:  I wonder if the other students and my teacher are fine.

(In the fifth page of the book...)
Teacher:  You know... I never really wanted to be a teacher.
Student:  And we care why?
Teacher:  ... Such nice children...
Student:  It’s your fault, you lied to us in the first place liar.
Teacher:  Don’t call your teacher a liar... And what did I say?
Another student:  You said magic isn’t real, and here's the proof!
Teacher:  Well everyone thinks and are sure that magic isn’t real.
Another student:  Not everyone... We know that it’s real, and I guess wizards exist too, John and Rex are wizards! They made those spells!
Teacher:  Well a teacher doesn’t mean it’s a person that knows everything, and I wanted to be a singer!
Student:  And sadly you came teaching us.
Teacher:  ... Thanks a lot.
Student:  No problem.
Teacher:  ...
Teacher:  ... Oh my goooosh!
Student:  What??
Teacher:  I got an idea to pass time by fast!!
Another student:  ... Which is?
Teacher:  I'll sing while you guys judge me in the last and help me out in pointers and then obviously I keep on singing to improve better and better... I will become a singer someday I just know it, alright lets start!
The students:  Noooo!

(In school, in the empty classroom...)
(A student enters inside...)
Student:  Hello? Weird...
(The student takes one of the books...)
(All the books in the classroom disappear...)
(John’s book starts floating in the air...)
Student:  Wow cool.
(The student takes the book...)
Student:  Page five...
(The student scrolls to page six and starts reading...)
(The students, teacher, Rex and John get teleported to the sixth page of the book...)

(In the sixth page of the book...)
Rex:  I was about to break the cage... Now it’s gone.
Rex:  And I'm at another area of the island... Weird.
(Rex sees a lot of smoke in the sky everywhere...)
Rex:  I'm guessing John is causing destruction...
(Rex starts searching for the teacher, students and John...)

(In the sixth page of the book...)
Teacher:  Finally we're free and it’s weird that we are now somewhere else, magic works weird.
Student:  We are still in the island... But the good thing is that we can be far away from you as soon as possible, hurry everyone lets go before she sings again!
Another student:  Hey guys I think John teleported us all in the book!
Student:  Seriously you figured that out just now?? You're a genious...
Teacher:  Hurtful I must say... Lets just... Um... What should we do!?
Student:  Well... Um... I don’t know, you’re the teacher and grown up already sister.
Teacher:  Fine, lets just find somewhere to live and get real food, not bananas... I think we're going to stay here for a while... Or just forever.
Another student:  But the book is about an island full of monkeys and bananas, the food is only bananas and the animals are just monkeys.
Teacher:  Well lets get all the bananas we can get! And I thought monkeys are mammals.

(The student scrolls to the seventh page...)
Student:  I like this book... Monkeys, bananas... Weird... Are those uhm... The teacher with some of my friends?? Wow that's so weird and cool! I can't wait to tell them!

(In the seventh page of the book...)
Rex:  Where am I now?? Another area! How is this happening?
(Rex keeps searching...)
(After some time...)
(Rex finds the teacher...)
Rex:  Hey!
Teacher:  Rex, where have you been?!
Rex:  Well John trapped me in a cage... And I got free somehow.
Teacher:  So did we, since you use that crazy magic, just take us out of here, hurry fast! I want my chocolate life back!
Rex:  You really have to stop eating chocolate, not healthy.
Rex:  And I can’t get us out, his magic is a little stronger and now he took my wand, which means I am a lot less magical.
Student:  Oh maaaan!
Another student:  Lets just find him.
Rex:  It isn’t easy but lets try, the island isn’t so big.
Student:  Everyone stay together.
Rex:  If we stay together and get teleported to another area in the island again, we will still be together.
Teacher:  Okay.
(They all stay together and start searching for John fast...)
(More smoke appears in the sky...)

Student:  Weird story... But it beats learning maths, it’s fun skipping class for once.
(The school bell rings...)
Student:  It’s break time! I'll just take this book with me and read it while I eat.
(The student walks to an area in school to sit and eat while reading the book...)
(While he is walking, he scrolls to the eighth page...)

Rex:  Great we're in another area now...
Teacher:  Lets just keep searching.
(They keep searching for John...)
(After some time...)
(A student sees John...)
Student:  There’s John!
Rex:  I will try teleporting next to him.
Teacher:  Take us with you to help.
Rex:  I can’t, I don’t have enough magic.
(Rex teleports behind John...)

(In the eighth page of the book...)
John:  Finally an island full of bananas and monkey... And I’m its king!
(John holds the two wands high up...)
John:  Many monkeys are already under my spell, now all shall be!
(Rex quickly takes his wand from John...)
(Rex blasts John away...)
Rex:  ... Yeah John you're king... King of the crazies...
John:  You again!
Rex:  Yes me! Got a problem with that?
(John and Rex battle against each other while the teacher and students come running towards them...)

(While the student reads the book, he opens a packet of chocolate...)
(The student starts eating the chocolate pieces...)
(Some of the chocolate pieces fall on the pages...)
(The chocolate pieces enter inside the page...)
(The student scrolls to the ninth page...)

(In the ninth page of the book...)
John:  Oh look another area again...
Rex:  The humans were so close... But now they're far away somewhere trying to find us again.
John:  Oh... My... Look!!
(John and Rex stare at the sky...)
(Chocolate pieces start falling from the sky...)
John:  Chocolate rain!
Rex:  What the!? I don’t remember chocolate in the island... Weird.
John:  Maybe that’s why we keep teleporting to other areas, and at each page, the island’s stuff changes... But everything is suppose to be monkey and banana related... Even the water around the island has a banana flavour... Someone's reading the book!
John:  Someone is reading the book and scrolling the pages... He or she must be eating chocolate pieces and they must be falling on the pages.
Rex:  So if they fall on the pages they enter??
John:  I guess so.
Rex:  I hope nothing dangerous falls on the page then...
John:  You’re right... If something dangerous falls on it, then the island, the bananas, the monkeys and I can be doomed!
Rex:  So you can see what’s the problem ha?
(John and Rex stop fighting...)
John:  I see... How about we make a deal?
Rex:  What kind of deal?
John:  I teleport you and the others back to school... If you all hide the book somewhere where no one will ever find the book.
Rex:  Okay deal.
John:  How can I trust you?
Rex:  Just trust me please, one way or another we will get out of here.
John:  True... But I have a better idea now...
(John teleports out of the book...)
Rex:  Great...
(The teacher and students arrive...)
Teacher:  You lost him!?
Rex:  He teleported somewhere else or out of the book.
Rex:  I have my wand now, all of you be quiet and I will start concentrating to try and teleport us out of here.
Student:  Finally.
(Rex starts concentrating...)

(In school, in the break area...)
(The student scrolls to the tenth page...)
(John appears in front of the student...)
Student:  Wow...
(A lot of students start staring...)
Student:  Magic!
(John freezes everyone...)
(John takes the book and makes everyone forget what just happened...)
(John hides in an area and unfreezes them...)
John:  Now to hide the book... But where...
(John hides the book...)
(John teleports back inside the book...)
(The school bell rings...)
Student:  What was I doing again? Um...

(In the tenth page of the book...)
Rex:  Another page...
Student:  Page? What do you mean?
Rex:  Nothing...
Teacher:  What should we do now?
Rex:  I should have enough power now.
(John appears in front of the teacher...)
John:  Well well...
(The teacher and students hold John...)
Student:  We are going to kill you!
(Rex casts a spell to make the students and teacher forget what happened while he quickly teleports them out of the book...)
Rex:  They are safe now... How about teleporting me out?
John:  Fine...
Rex:  So you’re just going to live in here forever?
John:  Yeah... I love bananas... And chocolate doesn’t hurt too I guess.
Rex:  You know you’re just wasting your life like this right?
John:  So what? I don’t care about life, I want to live in here, I already got rid of my family, don’t make me get rid of you!
Rex:  Okay... Sorry... But it’s just that you're living in an island... Full of bananas and monkeys... And now chocolate... And in real life it doesn’t really exist...
John:  You’re right...
Rex:  So you’ll come now?
John:  No... I just got a really good idea...
Rex:  Which is?
John:  Taking over the world... That’s a good idea...
Rex:  You can’t do that, you don’t know what magical powerful creatures exist that can stop you.
John:  What if I teleport them in here and destroy the book??
Rex:  That plan won’t work... Trust me.
John:  Either I rule this island or the real world.
Rex:  This then... Now take me out of here please.
John:  Fine.
(John teleports Rex out of the book...)
John:  I will take over the world now!

(Rex appears next to the hidden book...)
Rex:  I can’t let him cause trouble... He already took care of his family, he is crazy...
Rex:  I'm guessing the book is here...
(Rex starts searching the area...)
(After some time Rex finds the book...)
Rex:  Goodbye John...
(Rex burns the book...)
(Rex goes to his class...)

John:  I wonder how I will take over the world now...
(John gets levitated...)
John:  Huh?
(John looks at the ground...)
(The ground turns into the book's pages...)
(John looks at the pages getting burned and disappearing...)
(Eight pages disappear...)
John:  What’s wrong... What could have happened?
(The ninth page disappears...)
John:  Isn’t the tenth page the last page??
(The tenth page disappears and John does also...)

(After school...)
(Jasmine and Rex meet up and walk back to their house...)
Jasmine:  Hey Rex, I'm feeling worried...
Rex:  Why?
Jasmine:  Well I haven’t seen Stephen... Have you?
Rex:  No I haven’t and today I was a little busy trying to get out of an island full of monkeys and bananas that doesn’t really exist.
Jasmine:  Huh? What are you saying?
Rex:  Well...
(Rex tells Jasmine what happened while they walk back home...)
