"Charlie, since it's going
to be a boy and a girl, what
should we name them?"

My mind came to a blank
as I tried to come up with
something my children
won't hate us for in their
teenage years.

"Rose? Nah, used too much.
Something beautiful, unique,
rare, with a deep meaning?
perhaps?"

I nodded.

"Who knew naming a child
has so much pressure?"
She fumbled with a book that
had names in it.

I hugged her tightly and pushed
the book out of her hands, and
planted kisses up and down
her face as she laughed, happiness
filling up her features and stress
disappearing.
