I should be glad that you care for your family.
I should be happy to see you so involved with them.
You are ready to do things for your family that only a true gentleman does.
Sometimes it seems too much.
Sometimes it makes me feel angry.
I have known you for so many years, there is nothing about you that surprises me anymore.
You say, 'it's the right thing to do because anyone is going to do the same for their loved ones too.'
You take care of everything.
You try to be there for them in every way possible.
Although, it's not going to change how your family truly feels.
How your family treats you.
They are happy living on their own.
They only call you when they need you.
But you don't care about it.
You are always there for them which is a good thing.
But what you don't remember or don't want to remember is that I needed you too.
I wanted you to be there for me too.
I needed you to support me like a family does.
Because I was your family too.
