Their eyes connected from across the room. That seemed impossible because of all of the people between them, but it happened. Their eyes stayed connected in a stare that was so intense, it seemed as if the rest of the people in the club just melted away. It didn’t matter that they had both come with different people, that they were both grinding against different people, that they were supposed to be sworn enemies. After what seemed eternity, it was like a mutual agreement had been made. They both unattached from their respective “dates” without a word of explanation and, with their “dates” still clinging on to them, moved and met in the middle with a passionate kiss.
