The movie ended, and I still had no idea what it was about. I didn't really care anyway. I was just happy I got to spend time with Cassie. We stepped out of the theatre, our eyes adjusting to the bright sunlight. Our hands flew up, trying to block the sun.

Laughing and joking, the two of us wandered across the grass. We lay down under another tree. For a few moments, there was silence.

"Do you remember what happened we were under a tree last time?" Cassie sat up, supporting herself on her elbow.

I blushed, biting my lip. Cassie sat up fully, pulling me up with her. She leaned in, resting her forehead against mine. Our eyes closed, our heads rolled down. My lips found hers, and she kissed me. This time, I found myself desperately reaching for her, my hands on the back of her head, trying ever so slightly to pull her closer to me.

She pulled back after a moment, breathless. Smiling, she reached her hand out towards mine. I felt so happy in that moment, the words seemed to have a mind of their own.
