(i'm updating again because it took me so long last time and im going to be away for the next few days maybe a week so i wont be updating again for a while)
Chase’s P.O.V
“Steph you have to come” I whined to my best friend “You’re really going to send me out there in to the big wide world all on my own” I batted my eye lids and gave her the best puppy dog face I could
“Don’t give me that face” she laughed at me “This is what you’ve always wanted you don’t need me and besides you’ll have Harry” she finished
“Yeah I have Harry but for how long, they go on tour soon and don’t you want to so you can see Niall as much as you can before they leave” I said
“Of course I want to see him Chase but I can’t go” she said quietly
Ok seriously, there was something going on. Steph would have jumped at an opportunity to go overseas especially London. Why was she saying no, she couldn’t even look me in the eyes and tell me no, and then it hit me. Similar things have happened before with her, she shuts herself down, she goes quiet, she hardly talks to you
“It’s happening again isn’t it” I asked her with a sympathetic smile and she nodded all teary eyed
Steph’s luck with men hasn’t been the greatest. Her heart has been stomped on a lot and because of that she has this wall that no guy can ever get through. She hasn’t had a boyfriend for well over a year now and now I’m thinking about it she hasn’t really been with anyone since then. She has commitment issues, I’ve seen it happen a few times, she meets someone she really likes, she starts to get closer and then she runs for the hills
This can’t be happening now though, I mean, she loves Niall, she adores Niall and now she has Niall. Oh no no no Steph you are not running this time you will never forgive yourself if you do, I won’t let you
“Steph, Niall is a nice guy, he’s a sweetheart you know that, you told me that. He’s not going to hurt you” I said
“I know he is but I just can’t go ok” Steph said, her eyes on the ground
“Steph look at me” I said firmly, no way am I letting this happen. She looked up at me “Niall likes you, he is smitten by you, I know this because Harry told me”
“He did?” she said and I nodded
“He also told me that you haven’t been talking to him very much and he’s down about it” I told her
“He is?” she said softly and I nodded again
“Yes he is, so here’s what we’re going to do. You are going to go home and pack because you’re coming to live with me for a while and you’re going to call Niall or text him or message him or whatever that you miss him and you have a surprise that’s all he needs to know” I said to her
“Ok Chase” she said and pulled me in to a hug “You always know the right things to say, thankyou”
“Just doing what I do best cupcake, now get out of here and go pack” I said shoeing her out the door with a smile
When I heard her leave I grabbed my phone and flopped down on my bed. It had just started getting dark and I started to wonder if Harry was awake or not. I wanted to tell him to try and cheer Niall up and it will all be worth it for his and Steph’s sake, but most of all I just wanted to talk to him, hear his voice, his oh so sexy voice
I unlocked my phone and opened it up to a new message
From Chase: Hey Harry are you awake, call me when you are I have some good news
