I have so much poetry that I thought I mind as well share it! My poems don't really go together or anything, but I still like them. :) I'll make each one a chapter. Thank you to everyone who bothered to read my poetry! <3 u guys!

Imperfection

I hate,

that the thought

of imperfection

in our own bodies,

mind,

and soul,

can drive us to insanity.

Instantly,

as someone criticizes

and critiques us,

we feel dislike,

itching through our veins.

No matter how correct they may be.

We need to be told,

"you are perfect."

"you can do anything."

and most importantly,

when imperfection's

cruel hand,

strikes us once more:

"you have another chance."

"this won't count against you."

We need to know,

that our lives,

will be okay.

Catastrophically though,

they usually aren't.

When life

dumps those lemons on your head,

all you want to do,

is chuck them right back at life,

revenge,

for something that's your fault.

We cannot,

accept being wrong,

depressed,

different.

Little do we realize,

how annoying,

the perfect person would be;

a braggart at best.

Imperfection,

is why

I am myself.

It is who I am,

who you are too.

(yourself that is, not me)

Discover,

learn

from your imperfectioned past.

Be who you want to be,

and most importantly,

be accepting,

of your imperfections.
