The Nanny

Chapter One

At the park....

She's been waiting for that day to come. With her credentials and all she knew she could pass the interview without stuttering or any misconduct would happen. She came prepared with so much confidence that she will make it, she'll get the job. And she's sure of it. But what is she doing in that park sitting on that same bench during her college days dreaming that someday in that same building where she's staring at.. she'll have her first job ever. Sitting on a swivel chair facing a computer doing what she's supposedly be doing with in the office hours, sipping her coffee and so much as to what a typical work of an office girl. Is it still possible to achieve those? she really have no idea on what she's doing right now. Why she's just sitting there on that bench... she turn her glance at the beggar sitting on her side. Furrowing her eyebrows she thought she might end up like her or somebody else. Somebody else who she never thought her to become. She suddenly doesn't know what she wants. She knew she'd already lost that chance. She felt devastated with herself.. as the reality hits her again.

Few Hours Back...

Everything seems perfect from what she wore that day her Mom even bought her a new pair of ladies office suits for that said interview. Her Mom was the most excited for her.

" Do you want me to go with you?"

" Mom, I'm no longer a kid. I can make it. I promise." she said as she take a peak on her Mom's cheek and bid her farewell. 

" Okay, whatever you say. Goodluck baby, I always believe in you."

" Aww.. Mom can we stop being so dramatic here? I'm just going for an interview." Sulli hiding her growing irritation as she give her Mom a hug. Don't get it wrong she love her Mom. " Okay Mom, I really have to go I'm getting late, unless you don't want me to go?"

" Okay.. okay! Go.. you take care okay, and be back home early." her Mom said.

" Bye Mom.." Sulli waved goodbye as she walked her way to the bus stop, it's a one and half hour drive from their house to the City of Gangnam.

Choi Empire

Sulli walked her way to the entrance of one of the biggest building in the City the Choi Empire. She had an interview today in that said company she's applying for Marketing Communication Specialist. The job involves reviewing of literature related to the assigned marketing project, writing draft speeches for the senior management, as well as preparing brochures or video presentations. She hold her fist tight while heaving a sigh, she felt a bit nervous it was her first ever job interview since she graduated three months ago. It's not that she has no offers from any other company, it's all about choices, she sees herself working at Choi Empire.

The guard assisted her to the HR office where the other applicants seated on a lounging chair waiting for the personnel who will conduct the interview. She sits comfortably along with them. The said personnel call the applicant one by one..

until...

" Ms. Choi Jinri?"

She cringed once the personnel called her by her real name. A sudden pung of nervousness enveloped her. She came prepared right?.. she thought.

" Ah yes, Ma'am?"

" Are you Ms. Choi Jinri?.." the personnel asked scrutinizing her.

" Yes, Ma'am." she lightly bowed her head.

" Follow me."

Now, she's sitting on a chair in front of the personnel's table asking her questions which she answered modestly.
