Kahlani POV
"Lani you want pepperoni or cheese pizza I'm bout to go get some!" Trey yelled from in the hallway
I didn't respond as I snuggled under my cover
"Lani" trey said opening the door slowly
"Hm" I said grogly and he sighed sitting his keys down on my dresser sitting on my bed
"You doing ok " he said rubbing his hand across my forehead
I shook my head no and he got my phone logging in calling somebody
"I need a favor... I need you to watch after kahlani for me...Yeah..Alright bye" trey said
He hung up the phone and sat it on the table
"Kah you wanna kill yourself" he asked with his head down
"Why would you ask that" I mumbled
"Because you're depressed so I thoug- never mind" he said
"Trey if I wanna kill myself you'll know when im dead" I said
"Don't say that shit" he said
"I need to go get the door stay in that bed do not move" Trey said leaving out the room
I layed in the bed listening to trey and somebody talk in the hall as they came down
"Is that kahlani?" A voice asked
I turned around and it was adam
"Please look after her man" trey said making his way out
Adam nodded and pulled the chair from the corner beside my bed
"You OK " he said
"No" I mumbled
"I heard what happened I should have never left your house none of this shit would've happened" adam said
" adam its not your fault, I don't wanna be alive anymore I've been hurt to much in my life to try to be happy I can't do it anymore I CANT!" I cried and he got in the bed next to me
"Dont hurt yourself you still got me and your family we care about you" he said kissing my forehead
I layed on his warm chest for about 5 minutes before falling asleep
Trey POV
I walked in with the pizza and went to her room door listening to her cry
Adam comforted her and she stopped crying and layed on him
" I went into the kitchen setting the pizza on the counter and went into her room
" man I'm sorry I was just trying to help her sleep" adam said as lani layed on his chest
" its ight man your a cool dude which is why I'm willing to give you my blessing to date my sister I know she like you and all and I'm not gonna try to get in the way anymore " I said
"Your sister doesn't need a boyfriend she needs a friend to comfort her and I'm willing to be that dude who cares about her and protects her like you do she deserves it" adam said
"How old are you adam" I asked
"Im 19" he said
"That's wassupp man, but I'm about to go I need to go check up on some things if she start acting crazy call me"I said standing up
He nodded and I left out
