dedication: to OnAJourneyToNowhere for blowing up my notifications with so much love in only a span of one hour or less <3

girl gone

g girl with that unbreakable smile and hair so fine

of untamed happiness and the eyes of dime

i if the world made a wasteland out of you,

who would believe in the world of the live?

r river bends and winds, fate plays and lies,

a girl of that kind was made for cries.

l love, fate.

g gone was the girl with the unbreakable smile

the hair of waves that once had the sun's shine

o open the doors to let the monster lie

in your bed, make a home of your shrine

n no longer was her body her temple and divine

e effervescence, that girl was made to die

w where did that girl go with the winds,

a heart so brave, wings to fly?

h heard the media she did and their lies

'look at you but look at kim, look at kylie'

e effervescence, gone and dead

only to live to pursue a flightless drive

r ravaging her body, living only

to reach a dream body

that was not her type

e encore, fate cries, this is

a happy story i like

h help me, she cried,

the world wants something

from me that cannot be mine

a all the world's light

went to cry when the girl

with so much to love

lost everything in sight,

v vendetta, dear sister,

did fate say. perfection in mortality

was never for your kind

e essence, let it die.

y you, are you born blind,

they cried. to not see the beauty

you define?

o oh, but the world is born blind,

to break down a girl so divine

to mold into a cage so unfine?

ubiquitous, this foul disease,

to turn well-deserved thrones

into cages made of thorns?

g gone was she to a trip to

korea -- "for a break" she said

-- "to find myself."

o oh, what a tragedy, to see her

back, to see what became of

"finding herself."

she'd done her nose, her lips,

her cheeks,

her eyes, her butt, her hips,

her waist.

but they'd done more than that,

they put swords to her soul,

carved up her blood to behold

n no, she came back broke but

e even worse, her soul

deserted and broken

gone was the girl with the unbreakable smile and hair so fine, of untamed happiness and the eyes of dime, of a heart of gold she gave to all and wings that carried her beyond the world.

she cut off her wings, bargained for this revival of metal and knives. this revival that she thought was synonymous with "finding happiness."

and this is how the journey of the queen once with wings ends. she came back more than broke. she came back with her gold heart plundered and her silver soul rusted. it did not bring her happiness. all it did was take away that smile, that bounce in her hair in her steps. she did not find herself. she found a self that was sick and tired, broken and empty like the space in her wallet

and they all look back and say:

girl gone, where have you gone

where have you gone, girl gone?
