"Friendship Promises" (UNDER EDITING)

-WHY-

"What?!" I looked at Lucas.

"You have been hurt once and if this goes out of hand you'll be hurt twice!" He said looking serious.

"Wait...you want me to stay away from Mark?" I asked.

"Exactly, but only for awhile. Not for a lifetime. Just avoid eye contact and conversation for a week." Lucas said patting my shoulder.

"Okay if its the best for you." I said obeying.

"Good this is our secret now k?" He said and I smiled.

Someone broke into the door which is obviously Matt.

"Hey guys! Mom and dad told me they are overworking or something so we have to cook dinner all by ourselves."

"Trust me you are not cooking!" Lucas replied.

I giggled and Matt spoke,

"And what is your reason?"

"You'll burn the house down, obviously." Lucas said hiding his laughter.

"Alrightey then you cook bro!" Matt said then he laid down on the couch. While Lucas checked the fridge.

"Matt?" I asked.

"Hm?" He said opening his eye.

"Can we play that game you guys played when I fell asleep? Im bored."

A smile was plastered on Matt's face and he readied the game.

*At least this will keep him company*

As I played Emil arrived looking tired.

"Emil are you alright?" I asked.

He sat on the couch,

"Just tired" then he fell asleep.

When dinner came Matt kept on poking Emil to get him out of his sleepiness.

*poke*

"Stop! Im awake!"

We all burst into laughter.

The next day I went to school early.

I saw Mark chatting with some girls and making them fangirl.

He saw me and waved, "Hey G!"

*Avoid him, avoid him*

I went to my History class and went inside then the bell rang.

*Good thing he is not in this class*

As class started the teacher Mr. Groves was talking about different countries and their type of government.

I took down notes and listened at the same time.

After class Mark waved and ran to me.

"Georgette why did'nt you say Hi and Im sorry about yesterday."

I looked away and said,

"If your truly sorry stop fighting Jared, Lucas wants me to avoid you for awhile. He said I will be hurt twice." I said then walked to the library.

Then that left an open mouthed Mark staring at me when I walked away.

The library was empty except for our librarian Mrs. Wilson.

"Good Morning Mrs. Wilson!" I greeted her cheerfully.

She looked up and smiled at me,

"Good Morning dear, read or borrow?" She asked.

"Borrow" I said and looked for a good book.

I found a nice one called.

'Up A Road Slowly' by Irene Hunt.

Then Mark came in asking me questions very fast.

"Ssshhhh!" The librarian hushed at Mark.

"Please G! I promise to not do it again I got detentioned already and its my punishment." He said with his puppy eyes.

I sighed and walked to the librarian to borrow the book and walked down the hall.

He kept following and saying 'please' when a bombard of girls blocked him from me.

*Great now to Science*

The teacher lectured about ELEMENTS which made the class nervous but I know it already.

When lunch came I sat with Angel.

"So how are you? You are really avoiding Mark after what happened."

"Yeah I am but only for awhile." Then I drank the orange juice.

"They got detention though."

"I knew already, I saw them getting a talk from the prefect." I said while eating my food.

"Hey can I have one chicken nugget?" Angel asked staring at my food.

"Okay then go ahead."

She picked one and ate it.

"Thankchu Georgie!"

"Welcome Bestie!" Then we laughed.

"Have you heard about the news already?" Angel asked.

"Hm?"

"Mark is dating Ivy?"

I coughed "What?! That is so not true!"

"I know its fake but...it could be."

"Probably?" I sipped my orange juice asking myself.

Why would he date Ivy?
Why am I jealous?
Why is this happening?
