Chapter eight
Finally, it was Saturday! I ran downstairs, still in my pajamas.
On the way, I saw Tommy passed out in his room.
When I got down, I saw Nate sitting on the sofa watching cartoons.
I smiled and walked into the kitchen. I fixed two bowls of cereal and brought them into the living room. I handed one to Nate and I sat down with the other next to him.
He smiled and thanked me, then we ate our cereal and watched the cartoons in silence. When we were both finished I grabbed both of our bowls and put them into the sink in the kitchen.
When I turned around he was right there. "You look nice when you first wake up." Then he started leaning in. I quickly moved my head and he kissed my cheek. He chuckled and I looked at him like he was crazy.
"I have a boyfriend." I stated.
"Yeah, I know. But I like you. He doesn't deserve you."
I narrowed my eyes. "I love Michael. Don't tell me he doesn't deserve me." I spat.
I started to walk away and he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. Same thing Michael does.
"Look I'm sorry. I am just saying I like you." He explained.
"Well, I am sorry but I have a boyfriend."
"Okay, but I won't give up on you." He said sincerely.
"Didn't think you would." I muttered.
I ran up the stairs to my room.
My phone rang and I picked it up.
ONE NEW TEXT!
From: Mason
Good Morning sunshine(:
I smiled as I read it. Mason was such a great friend. I wish I could just be friends with him in public to.
I texted him back.
To:Mason(:
Good morning to you to.
My phone rang again and I picked it up, expecting Mason.
ONE NEW TEXT!
From: Kristin
Hey, Jade and I are going to the mall! Wanna come? Bring whoever!
I replied.
To: Kristin
From: Morgan
Sure. See you in a hour!
I went into my closet and picked out a pair of ripped skinny jeans, black flats, and a tan shirt that said in black writing "Oh my god, she's fashion road-kill"
After getting dressed, I applied some eyeliner and mascara. I put base on some of my fading bruises also. Then I touched up my reddish brown hair with the straightner.
After I was satisfied with myself I ran downstairs.
Tommy and Nate were dressed and watching T.V.
"Hey guys, want to goto the mall?" I asked.
"Will Kristin be there?" Tommy asked. I nodded and he smiled.
"Sure." And Nate agreed.
"We go in 45 minutes."
I picked up my cell and my phone and walked out to my car.
Both my parent's cars were gone, so they weren't home.
