Mom comes into my room "How as your first day of school,honey"?
I pretend to snore.
She comes and kisses me in my forehead walks out.She stops at the door"Dinner is going to be ready in fifteen minutes."
How did she know I was up?
I get up and brush my hair and head downstairs.Mama is setting down the silverware.I plop down at the table.Brian comes and sits down next to me with a mischievous smile on his face"Go wash your hands."
Ummm no insult.Something fishy is going on.
"Go wash your hands Sarah",mom says.
I get up and trudge to the bathroom.
Next thing I know there's water all over me and a bucket on the ground."Ahhhhhhhhhhhh"
Mom comes rushing upstairs"What is going on"?
Brian comes up the stairs laughing with his phone on record.
"Sarah clean this mess up now.",she yells.
"Why me"?....."It was Brian's fault".
"You've could've washed your hands in the kitchen instead of taking so long".
"Mom",I yell.
"When I tell you to do something you do it".
"But.."
"No buts you do what I say quick ,fast,and in a hurry".."Your brother taught you a lesson".
I groan and go to the kitchen and get some paper towels.
I start to clean up.Brian watching me the entire time.
After I finish I go back upstairs and pull my covers in top of my head.
I've lost my appetite.
"Honey come downstairs to eat your food", mom said.
"I'm not hungry",I mumble back.
She comes and sits at the foot of my bed."Sweetie you'll understand why I did that in the future".
"Yes mam"
She goes on a lecture and the next thing I know I'm fast asleep.
After fifteen minutes.I feel her kiss my forehead and whisper goodnight.
"I love you mama", I say.
Mama has her ways ,but I love her so much.
