~Recap~
I get up and wave to the crowd, waking off. I run behind the stage and shout Josh's name. " Where are you?" I shout.
Then I see his face.
" Jennifer." Nicholas says.

" We talk about our wasted future, but we take a good look around, yeah we take a good look around, and we know it hasn't been for nothing, cause we never let it slow us down."

Chapter Six
" Nic? What are you doing here?" I stutter.
" I'm here to take you away," he says.
" What? No!" I say.
" Come on, Jen! I love you! Take me back!"
" No, and I know you hate it, but I'm happy here with Josh." I say firmly.
" What's going on here?" Josh asks, walking towards us.
" What's it to you, man?" Nicholas says, coldness in his voice.
" Um, Jennifer is my girlfriend, that's what it is to me." Josh says.
" Oh yeah?" Nicholas says, taking a step towards Josh.
" Yeah," growls Josh.
" You're really getting on my nerves, little guy," says Nic.
Josh is silent.
Until I hear a crack when Nicholas punches him on the nose.
Josh falls to the floor, crying out. Nicholas kicks him hard in the side. I scream and Nicholas just looks at me, before walking off. I fall to the ground beside Josh, shaking him lightly.
" Josh, please," I sob. " Please, wake up." I shake him more violently then scream," Nooo! Josh, PLEASE!"
I have to get him to the hospital! I have to get him out of here. I grab his arms and legs and manage to get him into the bridal position. I'm pretty strong.
After walking a few feet, I have to put him down and start again. I keep going. It becomes a lot harder when I get outside and the chilly arm nips my skin. I get him to the car, and hold him with one hand for a second, to open the door. I place him in.
When I get in the car, I lean over his face, my tears dripping all over him. He's out cold.
I put my seatbelt on. I'll get him home. I start to drive, 40 miles over the speed limit none the less. When I finally get to my home, his eyes flash open.
" Josh!" I cry.
" Jen?" He says. " What happened?"
" You don't remember?"
" No,"
" Oh well," I say, smashing my lips against his. It's weird, it feels different. We've been going out for a month now and we've never had a kiss like this. Our jaws move together in unison, and I feel his tongue along my bottom lip. I open my mouth up and his tongue glides through perfectly. Our tongues battle for dominance.
We kiss for I don't know how long, before we pull away, gasping for breath. I peck his lips again, but softly this time, smiling.
I don't know what happened there, but it felt perfect.

My eyes flutter open as my phone beeps. I look around, trying to sit up. But Josh's arms are wrapped too tightly around me. I smile. Josh stayed.
I look at my phone, and see a text from Liam. It reads 'rehearsal today'. I smile. I haven't seen Liam since he told me that he loves me.
'Cool, what about grabbing a night to eat after?' I text back.
After a few seconds, a reply comes. ' Sure.'

Liam parks the car. I take my seatbelt off and turn to smile at him. I'm quite drunk, and I feel all my inhibitions floating away.
" Liam, why can't we just be friends?" I hiccup.
" You know how I feel for you," he says.
" Yes," I giggle.
" But you don't feel the same."
I feel the words, " Maybe, maybe not," roll out off my mouth. I don't have a clue what I'm doing, my mind is all fuzzy.
" What?"
" Maybe, maybe not," I repeat.
He leans his face closer to mine, and tilts his head. Wait. What? No, I'm dating Josh.
Before I know it, he's kissing me.
