I stare at myself in the mirror. I looked so different. I couldn't tell if I thought it was a good different or not. My long light brown hair flows down my back in loose curls. I never curl my hair, always feeling girly or like I am about to go to a beauty pageant.

The girl in the mirror was nothing like me. She is prettier. More mature and elegant looking. Where as on a normal, I look like I have just rolled out of trash can. I walk closer to the mirror, looking at my make up.

I usually would only wear bb cream, mascara, and councilor but my mother begged me to let her do my make up all out. She did an amazing job, probably because she is a professional make up artist. I look so much older.

"So beautiful, you are." My mom says, giving my shoulder a squeeze as she looks at me through the mirror. I smile and place my right hand atop her left one.

"Thank you, mom." I laugh as I turn toward her.

"Get changed, wont your date be here soon?" She asks. I nod my head before she turns on her heal and exits my room. I open my closer and reach for the incredibly beautiful dress Grayson had picked out for me.

I stared at it as I held it in my hands. I couldn't help but smile as I took it out of it's clear cover. I lay it on my bed before I strip from my clothes to put it on. After I have put it on, I grab my heals to match it. I look at
myself in the mirror one last time before my mom yells at me that he is here.

I grab my phone and some money before making my way to the stairs. As I stand at the top, I watch as Grayson introduces himself to my parents. He looks so handsome. In a suit and everything. I start to walk down the stairs slowly; everyones attention turns to me. The only person I can look at is Grayson as his eyes meet mine after looking me up and down.

When I reach the bottom, he offers his hand to me. I take it slowly, those familiar cold hands wrap around mine.

"You look beautiful." He tells me. I couldn't help but blush, especially since my mom and dad were both standing there watching us.

"and you look very handsome." I tell him, making a huge smile spread across his face.

"Alright, picture time." My mom claps her hands together. Grayson and I laugh before posing for my mom. After she snaps the picture my dad pulls me into a hug.

"My princess is growing up." He says. "But what a beautiful one you have become." He adds. I pull away and smile.

"Thank you, dad." I say before my parents shoo us out of the house.

Grayson opens my door for me like he usually does, but this time he pauses. He steps aside and in the passenger seat is a gift. I look at him and back at the present.

"Gray-"

"Open it." He whispers as he rocks on his feet. I nod my head, slowly opening it to reveal a beautiful necklace. It was so different from anything I've ever seen or owned. I clasp a hang over my mouth as I turn to him.

"You didn't have to. Now I feel bad because I didn't-"

"Blake." He laughs. "It's perfectly fine. I just really wanted to get you something." He adds.

I pull the necklace out and he slowly takes it from my hands. I turn my back toward him, lifting up my hair as he helps me put it on. I turn back around and wrap both my arms around his neck.

"It's beautiful. Thank you." I whisper.

"But not as beautiful as you." I pull away and lightly kiss his cheek. "Alright, you ready?" He says. I nod my head as we get into the car and make our way to the school.
