“Yes,” agreed Arthur, “that the readers won’t understand if they don’t know the other books that you’ve written.”

“It will have to be for the fans then.”

“Fan you mean.”

“I have more than one fan, it’s just that some of them don’t buy my books, only read the free stuff.”

Sid and Arthur looked at each other and shook their heads.

“We will have Gunby and Tresham then,” decided Arthur.

“Erm OK, but they are helping Lizzie at the moment with her part of the adventure. I’ll give you their clones,” I offered.

“Not from Reema V?”

“Erm, why not? That was a good idea Arthur,” and as I said it an interdimensional portal opened and clones of Gunby and Tresham appeared.

“Oon no,” quietly grumbled Sid, “I hope these two clones don’t meet the real ones, it might cause a couple of problems.”

“Ooh yes, a bit like you and Arthur are a couple of problems,” I quietly whispered back to him.

Sid looked like he was going to explain, but didn’t.

After I had let Sid calm down a bit Gunby and Tresham introduced themselves.

“Gunby,” nodded Gunby.

“Tresham,” said Tresham.

“Arthur of the Britons,” said Arthur.

“Sid,” said Sid the dwarf but didn’t end it with ‘the dwarf’.
