The Peaceful quiet,
Not a sound is made anywhere.
Alone, no movement, no talking.
My mind is not thinking.
Nothing interrupts this.
But the silence is not always good.
My mind will race through thoughts,
Not happy, but sad and angry.
And the silence is what holds in the feelings,
The ones I need to let out.
It keeps me from saying what I need to,
From asking for help.
The silence holds me prisoner,
And pulls me into a dark world,
A world that I can't get out of.
