The Red Beetle

This is only the beginning

Ok ok ok, this is gunna sound weard but I have an alien attached to my back yeah weren't expecting that where you. Well lucky for the both of us it's not some slimy green creature like you see in those SiFi movies no, this is a Red scarab thank god it's Red too I love that color. Right after that is blue but not the point. So you may be wondering how I got this scarab on my upper back well this is the story of how I became the Red beetle.

9:48 P.M

I was walking in an Ally way heading home from a party by newly Ex. Boyfriend threw it was actually fun until I found him kissing Sophia Cassidy (sry if this is your name) the schools most popular girl I hate her she acts like such a goodie two shoes around teachers, a boy hungry monster around boys, and a complete crazy psychopath around me. PICK A PERSONALITY WOMAN.
Any ways I was walking and triped over a rock and landed flat on my face hurting my ankle and riping my favorite dress it was red of course so you couldn't see me bleed as much (lol Deadpool reference) I got up and dusted the dirt off when lights came from the rock I went back to pick it up and when it was in my hand I got a good look at it and it kind I've looked like a beetle and then its legs began moving so out of reflexes I dropped it and it crawled up my leg on to my back and attached it self to me. Now I know what your thinking 'so how does that hurt' well that was me putting it lightly what actually happens is it stabed all 6 freaking legs in my skin and then those...those...claw clipper thingies went and pierced my skin and I yelled oww REALLY loud I might as well broken a window. Then the red armor began coverings my body and a voice said something so I turned around looking for some one
"Host is healthy in all forms"
"What who is that" I said in shock
"I am know as khaji Ra"
"I'm sorry what did you say, and who are you?!?"
"My name is khaji Ra meaning intelligent unit and Ra being my serial number, I am the scarab that has attached to your back" said the voi-i mean scarab.
The scarab was female and had kind of a rocky sound.
" And what is all of this" I asked the fear almost waring off
"This is that armor I come with you also have a variety of weapons and a shield this is bullet proof and can stand a punch form a Kryptonin"
" What so I can stand a punch from Superman" I said excitedly
"Yes how ever you will have injuries I recommend activation of flight sequence"
" Umm.....ok I guess" then wings began to come from my bank and I was in the air
"Zoey Evans accessing files........5532 orbit lane"
"Ok are you my secret stocker cuz you just guessed my name and address"
"No I am not and this wasent a guess"
From that point on I just stayed silent and continued to fly over my city
"The mandatory rest is needed recordinating flight home"
I landed in my window and heard foot steps coming up the steps of my foster parents the armor disappeared to I'm assuming the scarab
"O I thought you where going to stay the night at Lilly's" my foster mom scoffed. I hated her ever since I met her she always had something agent me .
"No I felt tired and was closer here" I replied nonchalantly
"What ever I don't care" she said
And with that walked to the car and drove off to god knows where.
I rested but I had to sleep on my side cuz my back hurt
"You must not tell any one about me"
"Well why not and what happens now"
"It may place your close friends in complete danger and you are now...Red beetle"
And with that I went to sleep

7:00 A.M

I went for a walk in the rare sight that appears in Huston somthing I thought i'd never get to see snow.
(Im not kidding I went there once in October and it was freaking 98° out side it was like summer and my nani told me this was fresh I looked wide eyed at her and asked if she was crazy ,and I live in El paso that's saying something)
I walked around a little and heard an alarm go off from the bank with a few shots
"We need to do somthing!" I said
"Activating armor and staple gun" (idk what it's called)
I flew up and went through the window of the bank on the top of the roof and flew down behind the criminal with a gun he turned around and I kicked the gun out of his hand and stapled him to a wall then the 2nd guy began to shoot at me with an A.K but it only damages the armor with maby a few marks and small bullet holes but that's it and I kind I've began moving back from the pressure not on purpose though I just slid or glided. I shot a staple at his wrist and he could no longer shoot and the gun dropped to the flore I then flew out and a reporter come up to me
"Did you just stop the robbery that took place there? And who are you?" She asked
"Yes I did" I replied and I am
Red beetle" and with that I flew off from then on I was known as The hero of Houston with a pretty good reputation as scary as the armor looked to most it felt peacefull to the people

2 years later
(2015)

I went on my nightly patrol and heard a small wining noise from behind a dumpster from a Cadmus building I flew down and saw it was a puppy
"It's a dog the breed is a German Shepard estimated age 3 weeks" mea and khaji Ra had a close bond like friend with a few arguments of Course but it was interesting. I picked up the dog and took it back to my hide out and the armor kept it warm the dog smelt kind of funny but not like trash like...chemicals where dumped on it. I washed it off and placed it on my bed. I ran away from home but still keeped some things like the bed and a few blanket the money part I have a part time day job as counter worker for an antique shop its actual a nice job I get some things from there and it's close by
"The German shepherd needs food"
"Well what does it eat "
"It is a she and milk you can find formula from the pet shop 23 minuts away"
"Ok do I take the dog"
"No, and once again it's a she how would you like it if I called you a human"
"Wow that sass though, you hang around with me too often"
I flew to the shop and landed on the side so no one would see me as Red beetle.

I fed the god and may I just say THAT WAS 2 GALLONS WORTH OF FORMULA

(Jaime's P.O.V)
"Hay did you hear about Red beetle"
Asked a girl to her friend
"Yeah she got a partner" she responded
"How did you know"
"The daily paper"
I was listening in on there conversation
"Hay homie" said my best friend Tye
"Hay" I responded
"Are you going any where after school" he asked
"Yeah family trip to blüdaheven" I said knowing he dosent know I'm blue beetle
"O ok well tell me when your free" he replied he was cool about me not being around all the time but I didn't question it. I walked to my reading class seeing Mr.Hernandez reading the paper
The cover said 'Houstons hero.and a paw-rtner?'
"Hay Mr.Hernandez may I read that" I asked interested
"Yes of course I'll be back and I'll be back gunna make copies" he replied thankfully this was my last class so right after I could head to the cave and ask Nightwing about this Red beetle.
I read the 1st column and it said
'*Houstons hero Red beetle has Ben seen with a dog this dog has powers here is a statement from our hero Red beetle "well this is no ordinary dog I found her as a pup outside a lab and she was covered in all kinds of dangerous chemicals she is currently 2 mounths and 3 weeks old she has superspeed and strength and know I would never involve her in things I know she cant handle like everyone else she has her limits and I will not allow her to go past her limits" she has released the name and breed of her partner She's a female German Shepherd named J.D.
The end of the day was here 2 minuts left till the end of the year and the teacher passed out flyers for the carnival downtown.
"Ding"
The bell rang and I ran to the closest zeda-tube and enters the cave
"Blue beetle B-2-7" the computer called out
"Hay hermano have you heard Red beetle has a dog with superspeed that's so crash" said impulse speeking a mile a second like usual
"Batman 0-2 Superman 0-1"
Called out the computer
"Beetle you and impulse suite up we are going on a mission" said Batman
Instantly I got nervous I armed up and impulse site up then we went off to the zeda-tubes. We arived in Houston Texas....
