I never thought flowers be pretty
I always thought flowers be small
Flowers are weeds in my eyes
Why blossom a beauty at all
I am not a flower
I am a disaster
I am animal instead
A deer
A rabbit
Anything
I am not a flower you see
Flowers they bloom
I assume
I become one with it all
With a gallop or a daze
I am one with nature
However, I am not a flower
Flowers are not me
They don’t describe
If I were a plant I’d be
A Venus fly trap
A carnivore.
Do not detest me
For there are flowers
And they are not me
I’m a unique bud
I spout and eat
I am not a flower
In fact
I dare to be
