Spring's POV

My midnight man will be revealed, hopefully.

NAGISING na lang ako bigla dahil may kanina pa nag do-door bell sa labas. I sit up at tumingin sa clock ko, it's saying na 6:54 a.m. na ngayon.

Today is thursday, 2 days before my birthday. Oo, november na ngayon. The days went so fast since that night when Sphere left. I can't say I became miserable when he did, it's just there isn't a day that goes by where I didn't think of him. Since that night he went away, he never ever came back.

Isa pa tong si Wrench. There's an event where we are both invited. Ang nakakainis lang, I went there alone tapos siya may ka'date. Pinansin niya naman ako, ang sabi niya lang "Good evening Spring." pagkatapos umalis na siya. Yun lang. Ansaklap diba?

May confrontation din naman na nangyari samin. It just happened last week. Nagkita kami sa isang restaurant, may ka'lunch meeting kasi ako nun.

* Flashback *

I was about to hop in my car, nang may nagsalita, "Spring, let's talk."

That voice. I know exactly who owns that: the man I love.

I turned on my heel and smiled at him. Feeling sophiscated ako para di niya mahalatang napaka mess up na ng utak ko simula nung ni'reject niya ako. "Yes? Oh, hey."

"I want for us to talk--"

I cut him short. "Busy ako. I have a lot of meetings this afternoon."

"And so am I but I can't go through all that without talking to you first."

Nagsalubong yung kilay ko. "Wow Wrench, andami nang araw na dumaan tapos ngayon mo lang naisipan na mag usap tayo ulit? Ano, ngayon lang gumana yang utak mo para marealize na kailangan natin mag usap? Wrench, I waited for you to show up and yet you didn't. Nung nagkita naman tayo, I waited for you to ask me for a talk and still you didn't." sabi ko at dinuro-duro yung chest niya. I didn't meet his gaze cause I feel like I was about to cry.

"I'm sorry I didn't made a move with that expectation... Look, ugh." Biglang hinawakan niya yung wrist ko tapos binuksan niya yung door sa backseat ng car ko. He ordered me to go get inside and yes I did. He closed the door and sit next to me.

"What now?" nag crossed arm ako.

"I can't take it kung habambuhay tayong ganito."

"You chose it Wrench. You chose this way."

"It's just... Binigla mo 'ko. One day, you hate me then the next day you're being good and the next day gusto mo na ako. I don't know how to handle that."

"You don't have to do anything, I just want you to accept it, but you didn't. You just want me to forget, forget you."

"I'm sorry."

"You must be!" Medyo na shock din ako sa pag burst out ko. I calm myself as he went silent, "Kung ikaw mismo ang gagawa ng paraan para iwasan kita, don't worry, kaya kong ibalik ang panahon na hindi kita kilala."
