He had the most amazing night in his entire life and it was all because of her, the woman that is lying right next to him in his bed. Where she should have been every day but life had not let it happen. Life, no he didn't let it happen. He had been so naive to actually believe his mother, he still had to speak to his mother about everything that had happened. He had felt when Camden had woken up, he felt her staring at him and he wanted to open his eyes to look into hers but he stopped himself when he felt the door open a little bit. He then heard Camden shush the intruder and then he heard the door open up more with a giggle. Camden had grabbed the boy and he had jumped onto the bed.
"Mommy, is papa sleep?"
Camden told him something and immediately Nikolai felt the boy climb over his mother and got in between the two lovers, then the boy looked at his father. Then he placed his head on his father's chest, hearing his heartbeat and feeling his chest move up and down with his breathing. He really wanted to open his eyes and see his little family but he decided to wait a little.
"Mommy sleep."
Then he felt Camden come closer to the both of them, with that he wrapped his arms around both of them and smiled. He then fell back asleep peacefully with his family just like they were supposed to be since the very beginning. But the peacefulness wouldn't last long for there had to be someone banging on the door restlessly. Nikolai couldn't have one happy moment with his family, especially when he had just got them back. He groaned but tried to get up to get the door since he had told Stanley and Mrs. Daae to take the rest of the night and the next day off. As he tried to get up, Camden moaned.
"Do you really have to go see who that is? Can't you stay in bed with me?"
Her face had been scrunched up and pouty, he found her adorable. He leaned over and kissed her pout away.
"I'll be back as quick as possible."
She sighs and nods then rolls over but he still couldn't get out of bed. His son Mickey had been sleeping on his chest, his little head on his chest while his arms and legs all spread out like a starfish. He tried to move him but he would cry a little bit or he would fuss. Nikolai chuckled.
"Mickey, I have to go get the door."
He shook his head and grabbed the bear that he had brought with him and hugged him to his little chest.
"No, stay, mommy go."
Camden giggled and looked towards her boys, she couldn't believe the sight she saw. Nikolai couldn't move and Michelangelo cute a button. She rolls her eyes and gets up. She goes to the closet where Nikolai had his dress shirts and picked on. She put it on and then opened the door to the room. She turned back to her boys and smiled.
"I'll be right back."
She then closed the door and walked over to the door which still had someone banging on it.
"Hold your horses, I'm coming!"
She opens the door and she was shocked to say the least at who stood in front of her, a person she did not expect to ever see again. She placed a hand over the door knob and the other on her hip blocking the visitor's entrance into the penthouse. The person trying to get in had been surprised to see Camden here and in only Nikolai's shirt. 'What had they been doing? Why had they been doing that? Why would he take her back? She cheated on him! I am the one that showed Natalia the proof! Why would he take her back?! He's supposed to be with me!' She thought.
