When you said I had you,

I think you might’ve lied.

You don’t realize how much I know,

But I know what you tried to hide.

You made me fold away my conscience,

You were a temporary fix to the pain,

What I didn’t realize was,

You’d only bring more rain.

You were my everything,

I thought I was yours too.

And the really crazy part?

I still love you.
