You ask me if I'm sure I love you,
As if I'd ever say no.
You say you don't get why I love you,
But really I don't know.
Maybe if I didn't love you,
Maybe then we'd get along.
I wouldn't care if you paid attention
Or found meaning in every song.
I wouldn't care if we had sex,
I wouldn't care if we lied,
It wouldn't matter if we talked,
I couldn't care less if I tried.
Maybe if I didn't love you,
Maybe then you'd see,
Maybe if I didn't love you,
Maybe then you'd love me.
