Chapter 8
I had to get everything organized, had to get it straight and in order.
What was my next step?
I couldn't just sit here and ignore what is happening, I had to react, make something happen.
But how?
My mind was blank, I couldn't think of a reasonable solution.
I didn't know how long I was staring at the wall but it must of been ages because I heard the front door slowly open and close.
My dad.
He worked awfully late and came back around midnight every week except weekends of course.
My heart skipped a beat, I wanted to move, but my whole body had frozen.
Why it's just my dad?
I stood there searching for something to do in my room. I glanced over to the window, bringing back the memory of seeing her.
That's when I made a promise, tomorrow...tomorrow I will go outside and face my fears.
I have to, then I will be able to close my eyes.
Most of the night I spent, thinking about a plan for my escape.
My dad had gone asleep, I was up alone.
The silence disturbed me, it gave me the creeps. The loneliness gave me too much time to think.
It was final, tomorrow was the day and I was going to succeed.
Or so I had hoped!
